I have had pain in my elbows for 2 years now. I went to kinesioligists and spent hundreds if not thousands of dollars only to get temporary relief. I have been doing this massage for about a week and it's incredible. Reduced the pain by about 80% and it's FREE. Ha!

Same here. Just discovered this video, been researching the interwebs for months trying to cure my year long tennis elbow. I have tried everything, including going to a chiropractor/kinesioligist of sorts also, nothing has helped more than doing this massage a few times a day for only a couple of days! I have subscribed.

I went to my doctor he said to stop doing what Im doing. We the poor are killing our self working every day. And for what ???? Then all. Prayer to the great spirit for people like you to teach us how to care for ourselves. Like my native brother and sister did till they murdered them for the riches and for killing mother earth. As we can see that she is mad....

I used this massage several years ago for my tennis elbow and it helped immensely. I got away from it and had a bad flare up in both elbows. In the past 4 months, I have spent over a thousand dollars on physio and nothing worked. I started these massages again yesterday and it is the only thing that works, in my opinion. Thank you so much.

This is BY FAR the most useful and easy but effective tennis elbow exercises in this category. You don't need any rubber bands, tennis ball, weights, bars, etc. All you need is a tennis elbow. I've tried it and it works!!!

I was diagnosed with tennis elbow for 1 month now. Im a baker and a cake decorator. Kneeding breada and fondants and lifting cakes, trays and containers are what makes my arm soar for days on end esp in the evening. I got an elbow strap. It did work but the pain got worse esp at night and when i wake up in the morning. Ive done exercise but it doesnt relive me of my pain. When i saw your video, your explainations all made sense. Ive done the massage and the exercise for the first time and i had a relief right a way. Your God sent.

I am a hardcore skeptic. After suffering from fibromyalgia for 20 years. I have walked all kinds of medical and alternative paths to treat one pain or the other. In the last year I developed lateral epicondylitis in the right elbow. The pain has had a major impact in my life. And with three young children daily life has become a nightmare. A few months ago and, as it's often the case in fibro patients, I developed epicondylitis in the left elbow. The pain is so intense that it wakes me up several times through the night. I tried this self-massage once (it was a bit hard to do, as one elbow hurt when I massaged the other arm). The pain went down to about 30% in a matter of 30 minutes. I will continue with the routine (including the ice). So I will see how it goes... But for now, I thank you for sharing this. It's magic!

Great to hear! Fibromyalgia is a complicated problem, and it can be a fine line between not enough and too much treatment. I think that the ice is an excellent addition, anything to keep your inflammation and sensitivity in check. I hope you've been well!

Thanks Ian! In May of 2015, I started a janitorial job that requires lots of sweeping, dusting and vacuuming with my right arm/hand. Before watching this video, I was NOT able to wash the back of my head with my right hand, was NOT able to place my right arm to the outside of my right shoulder, was NOT able to place my right hand on the back of the right hand side of my neck. AFTER JUST ONE ROUND OF MESSAGE AND ICE TREATMENT, THESE PROBLEMS IMMEDIATELY VANISHED!!

+Body-Mind Conspiracy Are you Ian Harvey?. The picture looks like him. Update: What about heat as well as ice? I am now using both. Forget about NSAIDS. After just one week of trying Aleve and Voltaren, my guts just about fell out. I am experimenting with more natural ointment such as KALAYA NATURALS. I shall find out soon if I can safely use this sporadically after the seven day trial.

Well I've been to chiropractic, physical, and medical therapy. Even on you tube never found this stretch. While playing golf just over a year ago, I swung out of my body and the following day felt the pain of tennis elbow. It has come and gone over the past year. Sometimes enough to just be bothersome while at other times needing some rest. Yesterday was using a hammer drill to put some holes in concrete. Had to stop half way through what I was intending to finish due to the tennis elbow pain. Found this video today. As someone who is on the computer about 12-14 hours a day, I think I've latched on to what you are saying. Much appreciated. Stretching now...

Hi Ian: I was taught this method by a physical therapist 30 years ago, only he instructed to use the duck bill Indian burn near the elbow first with the fingers extended and finish with the wrist curved downward. I did this over a period of several weeks and the tendonitis went away for years. Every time it returns, I repeat it and it goes away. Obvious the technique has changed but you method I will pass on to colleagues as you are a expert.

I been looking at so many videos on KZfaq about treatment of tennis elbow, and most are stretching or exercising. This one is about massaging and I have to admit that I started to get instant relief! I think with a combination of stretching, exercise and massage, this too will go away just like my golfers elbow did last year. Stay healthy and been kind to on another.

I've used ice and anti-inflammatories with some relief, but this massage is wonderful. I did it before working this morning, and I'm much more comfortable. I've also been applying the ice wrong, on the back of the elbow instead of where you indicated. I'm going to change that, too. Thanks for the relief!

immediate relief of my elbow pain by applying "indian burn". The point about the "villain" and "victim" is gold. I practise tennis intensively so the forearm muscles are always in a stiff state. I would need to flex them between practice. Thank you so much.

I developed this in both arms over the summer due to a combination of contributing factors...a change in focus at the gym that didn't work well with my physiology, carpentry, gardening, mountain biking, getting older, etc. Compounding the problem is the fact that my job is primarily related to computers, so lots of typing and mouse work. Did you know this is also commonly referred to as carpenter's elbow and mountain biker's elbow. With biking it's often associated with "death-gripping" the bar, a habit I'm bad for, especially on aggressive down-hill. I've been doing physio with acupuncture and ultrasound, for about 2 months now with little improvement, but he tends to focus on the area around little bone and not so much the muscle. Going to give this a try over the next week and see how it does.

I've been in a lot of pain for a few months now. Resting it is no option because of my work. But these instructions have given me more movement in my arm already! Will try the ice as well and see how far I can get on my own. If there is no improvement, I will see my docter :)

Thank you, this really helps. I realize that my elbow pain comes from my very recent activity playing brain exercise games on the computer with a mouse. I have been a bit excessive and need to balance my time spent on them. These tips made a huge difference in the soreness level. I am also a massage therapist.
