That *War Room* line was written for Brad.

The thing is, Michael Jr. is a legitimately a hilarious comedian (watch his bit on how he knew he was a comedian), so I feel like he came into this not great movie and then just injected some of his stand up jokes into the film elevating it a bit.

The guy playing the dad is the Wish version of Terry Crews!

This movie actually sounds fucking awesome. Just the right amount of self aware cheese and genuine heart that I like in a movie!

I watched this movie and it had some funny moments. Michael Jr. is one of my favorite comedians.

I love Loyd just screaming at them right before the 7 minute mark like. "Shut up Damn it! I cant sleep with all this noise! When am i going to get my own movie like the snob!? And why won't Chaplin leave me alone!!?! He keeps calling and calling.' And he just drones on like that.

But honestly i started out with "Finding Jesus" and you two were way more funny just being yourselves and playing off each other. Really like this stuff, please keep it up! “Selfie Dad?” I haven’t watched the review yet but I don’t get if there’s a joke in the title or not. He’s a Dad that takes selfies? The poster just shows him taking a selfie and doesn’t really convey anything. The tag line is just “Parenting is no joke.” I don’t get it. 😐

The fact that the wife doesn't get ran over by an unseen vehicle for saying that she doesn't like Christian movies means this is actually one of those surprisingly decent and watchable religious flicks alongside God's Not Dead 3.

I think it was not only a play on his lack of understanding of the internet, but also the fact that the KZfaq channel is about exposing his life to the world, like a selfie, but ALSO implies he is selfish. It's actually a little bit of a clever word play. I think you were a little harsh on the title.

Went online to make some dough... Got big hits and money flow... Then it became "Jesus Bro!" Selfie Daaaad! Selfie Dad!

This movie saved my marriage. Sarah and I had been struggling for a couple months. Coming from Chicago I knew I wouldn't see eye-to-eye on everything from someone from rough and tumble Oklahoma. Still it was hard to connect sometimes over our faith. We both believed in Jesus Christ but I thought God was just some jolly dude up in the clouds. She thought God was wrathful and that good Christians would take up the sword in his name. I remember the first time she told me that. Her eyes were so pretty. During a particularly bad spat (I had used the Lord's name in vain while frying some hotdogs) I thought maybe we could ease the tension with a movie night. She agreed although it got pushed back twice because she didn't think the first two movies (Shutter Island and Cars 2) were appropriate movies. Worried I was going to blow it a third time and starting to think I may need a lawyer I found out about "Selfie Dad". We watched that night. I've NEVER seen my wife laugh. Not as in "laugh that hard" but laugh period. Her sect of Christianity actually forbad all laughing. So imagine my surprise when Ben Marcus effectively for a moment was more important in her life than Jesus. And just like that we were back to our normal life. Not to give too much information but also that night we "moved some furniture around". I won't give any details about that but I will say that the entire time we had "Selfie Dad" playing in the background. EDIT: I originally gave this movie 5/5 stars but have since changed it to 1/5 after finding out that in the movie Ben NEVER takes a selfie. Director Brad Silverman is a shame and should be boycotted on every future project.
