St. Augustine says, As, therefore, the human race, subsequently to the first marriage of the man who was made of dust, and his wife who was made out of his side, required the union of males and females in order that it might multiply, and as there were no human beings except those who had been born of these two, men took their sisters for wives,-an act which was as certainly dictated by necessity in these ancient days as afterwards it was condemned by the prohibitions of religion . . . and though it was quite allowable in the earliest ages of the human race to marry one’s sister, it is now abhorred as a thing which no circumstances could justify. (The City of God XV.16) (Also, Moses may not have found it necessarily have to mention the names of the daughters as there may have been no theological lessons to be learned from) .

Music in my country is far worse, drums would be a whole lot better. Bachata, salsa, protestant music etc.

Actually he’s from the south and it’s his accent that has led you to erroneously judge a highly educated priest with unmentionable sin. But let’s assume that you are correct and that particular sin is his cross to bear in his life, he has chosen to live a celibate life and has no history of being shuttled from one post to another. It’s not for you or anyone else to judge him and condemn him for what he must carry with the light of Christ. Personally I have found his lectures to be the best I’ve ever listened to on this subject and his knowledge of the history is second to none.

Bach, Franck, Schubert, Mozart and palestrina is very high Church. We have regrettably succumbed to the wishy washy Mass folk music, this music lends itself towards our wishy washy culture and many of our uncatechied Catholics.

Vatican II actually didn’t change any of these things. In fact it encouraged Gregorian chant and it didn’t mention communion in the hand. All that stuff came afterwards due to liturgical creativity and a revolutionary spirit that spread among the clergy in the 1960’s.
