It was actually pretty darn dumb that he's softened the landing this way - if his laser beam would've worked like this, he would push his eyes to the back of his head, or at least slide each time he uses it horizontally on the ground, lol.

Even Dark Beast was saying how much work and roles the team made Beast performed for the group. 🤣 Apocalypse was a better manager he at least gave Beast some days off during the week.

No one gonna talk about how even his character personality was done right also. He made sure that everyone else was secured before worrying about himself. Scott has always been a leader much to his humble beginnings. Love that he is still portrayed as he always was back then.

You could even read one step further into it. As a child, Scott lost his family in a plane crash (at least as far as he knew for many years) and suffered a wound that made his mutant powers go out of control. Now, his smile as the plane comes apart is so powerful - he’s utterly in control, and trusts himself and the team to keep his new family safe. Great stuff!

Well, as a kid, he did fall from an airplane and a faulty parachute and bonked his head really badly. Hence he can't control his optic blasts and needs the glasses and visor. Now he's evolved from that trauma in the coolest way possible.

Funny thing is that Logan didn't need saving, so Morph turning into Archangel was more to have Logan avoid pain and the time for him to heal. Would had been funny though, all of the X-Men land and pose, and Wolverine crashes at the end, then he raises his hand and says "I'm alright bub, you all go on ahead, I'll be right behind ya."

@@jonjones3841 Hugh Jackman's Wolverine was way better than Marsden's Cyclops and Berry's Storm though. Would you have even wanted to see either of their solo movies? Patrick Stewart, Ian McCallum and Hugh Jackman were in a league of their own compared to the rest of the cast imo. From a production standpoint if you have something that works that well, you run with it. That's why Robert Downy Jr.'s Iron Man was sort of the center-piece of the Avengers even though in the comics it's always either Captain America or Captain Marvel. His version of Iron Man was just too good to side-line.

People are justifiably impressed with Cyclops new showcased fighting moves, but you haven't seen Wolverine get dirty yet. He's a hundred year old immortal Irish samurai and ninja that did time as a CIA super soldier with even more fight training than Cyclops. He wields 6 unbreakable swords, and any of his wounds heal in moments. He engages a "berserker" mode if he's badly outnumbered. It's going to be bananas.

I loved this scene! I loved watching X-Men growing up - the animation show, along with Spider-Man, Fantastic Four, Hulk and Iron Man introduced me to Marvel and superheroes as a whole! Watching this scene was cool and Cyclops truly is showing an example of the leader he's always been written as in the comics. The moment he says "To me, my X-Men". Loved that moment!

Cyclops super hero Landing is the best I’ve seen in a long time probably since Thor entered Wakanda during infinity war with his new axe, that was very badass. I’m glad they did Cyclops right bc he’s hella powerful just like a lot of mutants are and finally they are getting recognition for it and it’s great to see in screen great job to the writers and animators on this show

Great scene. I do hope in this series they still tackle individual side stories for the characters. Maybe they're trying to do that with Storm now. But some of the best eps were the ones where Wolverine left the xmen to get his rage under control. Or cyclops left because Jean died and he'd lost his way. Or when Gambit left because his brother was being held prisoner. I love exploring the backgrounds of the characters
