One of the best things about Faye's videos besides her kickass personality is her use of professional looking diagrams that she inserts into her videos. I love how instead of just referencing an item, she actually puts it onscreen for us to see/reference. Alot of people do quality editting of their videos but honestly Faye's are really #1. You walk away not only learning but using these videos over and over again as true how-to material. Awesome video.

I wish this video had came out in November when we did ours! This is the clearest videography on the belt. Since you just changed the water pump we'll let it slide that it's cheating to not have to wrap the belt over the fan blades to do the job. That makes it way more fun! Great video Faye, keep up the good work!

If the factory didn't put the belt routing or it has changed I use a marker to draw it out.

Very good video you made me laugh when you said you're going to use your calibrated wrist as a torque wrench as a fellow mechanic I use that torque wrench all the time to😂👍👍

I wish the channel further prosperity! :) Faye, please tell us what you think about the topic of repairing a car body (including the underbody, side members, strength elements) using rivets? It happens that it is not always possible to work with welding (the garage is small and it is simply not safe to work with welding there), you also need a good welding machine and, what is also important, good welding skills and experience in order to make high-quality seams. I have seen some car owners make repairs using rivet extractors and it works quite well and seems to last a long time. It would be great if in one of the following videos you talked in detail about the possibility of repairing with rivets as an alternative to welding, compared these repair methods and talked about various subtleties. Thank you :)

i commented on the water pump video on when i replaced a balancer that came apart at the rubber but the accessory belt was still on the bottom of engine not broke at all. replaced balancer with exact replacement and belt would not go back on. and i know rubber drive belts are going to shrink 2 inches? after 4 days i went to autozone and got a replacement belt and stretched with both hand's against the old one and it was 2 inches longer and fit right on. yes i followed the diagram exactly,i even replaced tentioner thinking it wasn't going far enough back when i had the 3/8 ratchet in the square hole with a pipe over the ratchet. ive asked shop owners and mechanics and get a shoulder shrug and the common did you replace the balancer with the same one etc.ive been a mech for 35 years and worked in shops. ive done a timing chain on my sbc that was miss marked at the dot. was 180 off,but this one i can't not anyone else come up with an answer as to why the belt would be 2 inches short when re installing.
