Ridley is a multipurpose service dog in training. She is task trained to mitigate my psychiatric and physical disabilities. She is granted public access rights to enter non-pet friendly places via The Americans With Disabilities Act and California Disabled Persons Act. Bringing non-service dogs into non pet friendly establishments is illegal. Faking a service dog is a federal crime, and a misdemeanor in many states punishable by $1k+ in fines and jail time. Please do your research before bringing your dog into public to find out if they are pet friendly. Target. Walmart, Disneyland, and any theme park or store/establishment that sells food is NOT pet friendly.

@@minniemouse3123service dogs are apart of people. They make lives easier by alerting you when a crisis may happen or just picking something up that you can’t. Petting them is taking them off duty and even if you pet them for just awhile they are still off duty because they think it’s relax time. This can risk putting the persons life in danger. Many service owners come off as “rude” because they’ve probably had many times when people don’t listen and still try to distract the dog. The dog is just a helper. You wouldn’t take a picture and touch someone’s wheelchair would you? Exactly. Be humble my friend.

Actually I would take a pic if it was a fancy wheelchair they should go to the special Olympics being around Disney like this. 😂 The dog picking things up they could reach and get it themselves they are really lazy people and I think I would know if an emergency was about to happen like I have really bad panic attacks and Ik before it happens i don’t need no dog and neither do they. They need to learn themselves better.

The dog should relax dogs are pets not workers there were no service dogs back in the cave people days and they survived just fine as well other tragedies in this world they survived and no service animal I don’t care if it affects the persons life they are not gonna die just because I pet the dog. My children are learning to pet service dogs to because I am not stony child from petting one unless if it’s on a leash or has a muzzle.

ooo since WDW is my home park, I can chime in on magic kingdom accessibility stuff: it's largely because the park was built so long ago and hasn't really done much to update. they really, really need to but they count on everybody renting electric scooters now, not wheelchairs. It's bad.

I know I’m pretty late on the video...I have never gone to any park with my service dog yet but from my understanding they give you a fast pass if you are disabled? How much extra is it? I apologize for the questions! I love you guys and you are an AMAZING team! My pup has floppy ears but if I lift them she looks a little like you pup! I think you're talking about the DAS pass or disability access services pass. I don't believe they cost money because they're an accommodation, probably just a form in advance or when you first get into the park

I love Ridley, I love the way y'all work together, but my otp is Noxus and his handler because gosh, his soft pure little moosh, I'm sorry ;-; Also I guarantee you are breaking minds by doing the pictures with the dogs then telling folks not to take pictures of the dogs for personal reasons because you just know they don't understand the difference. I'm not going to say that you're not legit and faking it but when you got angry at the woman taking a picture of the dogs because the dogs are dressed really cutely, I understand that it's rude to continue doing something after someone asks you to stop but it's also out in public. If it was at your house or other private property you would have the say. But when it's out in public and the dogs are dressed like that, people have the right to. Also at 28:34 you guys took a video of the lady with her dog without her permission. I'm not trying to start an argument, I actually very much enjoy these videos but those bits kinda just didn't sit well with me.
@theservicehyena3088
@theservicehyena3088 Жыл бұрын
nobody got angry, we just asked her not to take photos. its rude to take photos of someone without permission, let alone of someones medical equipment. you do not have a right to take photos of my medical equipment just because we are in public. you can ask, and usually i say yes, but you are not entitled to interact with my medical equipment in any way, in public or not. thats the law. the woman i got a video of did not have a service dog. that was a literal baby dog, and in no way a service dog. now these videos are well over a year old and approaching two years. would i video the puppy now, no. but taking photos of someones medical equipment vs a pet are not the same. the polite thing to do is to ask either way, but when you’re breaking the law im not really in a polite mood.
@papuzka0

@@theservicehyena3088 but you took a video, which is a stream of pictures of them without their permission. Don’t ask not to take pictures of yourself or your dog while you are actively recording. You are doing the same thing you are asking others not to do.
@kileyjohnthemedic402
@kileyjohnthemedic402 Жыл бұрын
@@papuzka0 yeah, I'm glad she said that she sees the error of that now, people do learn/mature, so it sounds like she won't do it again the same way. And again, I'm not saying it's not rude to continue doing something that someone asked you not to, and according to the video and what she said, the woman still took a picture once they had turned their backs, which definitely isn't right. But usually people with medical equipment don't dress the equipment up in cute Disney outfits, and take it completely serious. So I kinda also understand where that woman was coming from. I'm not saying you need to explain that they're 'medical equipment' to every single person but maybe she just didn't see the vest while paying attention to the cute outfits. Probably she would've understood and apologized if the ladies had at least asked her not to in a less 'like don't do that (they probably said please but I just remember the attitude)! You aren't allowed to!' Even if you say please it's HOW you say it that gets people to listen. People are much less likely to listen to attitude than politeness.

@@papuzka0 this video was two years ago, and as i’ve said i wouldn’t do that now. however, taking photos of real teams is very different than taking photos of a clear fake. in no universe was that tiny puppy a trained service dog. but i digress, i don’t do that now.

@parrant8134
@parrant8134 3 жыл бұрын
@TheServiceHyena Well I would suggest you get to reporting. Y’all two are the exact very reason they have stopped allowing emotional support pets on flights, the problem is there isn’t any unified across the board certification or licensure program to regulate REAL SERVICE DOGS thus allowing anyone to half ass train their personal pet to do a couple of task and slap a service dog vest on them and dare any business to not allow them access. As I’m sure you are aware that any business is only allowed to ask Service Dog Owners two questions. Is that a service dog and what task are they trained to do? This is the problem I have almost every damn service dog channel you see on KZfaq is a white female, usually in her teens or early twenties with multiple friends with service dogs and their disabilities being psychiatric, hardly ever any physical disabilities, why is this?? Because these particular individuals are abusing and taking advantage of the situation and thus making it hard on people as myself that have true service dogs. If your wondering I am an Iraqi war veteran that is a double amputee and I rely on my service dog for mobility issues . If what I’m talking about hasn’t become such a big problem it wouldn’t be in the limelight so much as we speak.

@@parrant8134 oh sweetie, you BIG mad 🤣 Ridley isn’t and never was my pet. she was literally adopted with the sole intent of her being trained as a service dog. we’ve worked with multiple professional trainers. so because i’m white, and in my 20s, i can’t be disabled? i have MULTIPLE physical disabilities thank you very much. did you even bother to watch the video? i’m literally in a wheelchair for 90% of the entire video you donut 🤣 ever heard of hypermobile ehlers danlos syndrome? postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome? didn’t think so. curious, if mental disabilities aren’t valid to you, do you feel the same way about war vets with PTSD? are their struggles not valid? their service dogs not valid? pretty hypocritical. you don’t get to dictate who is or isn’t disabled enough.
