Creamy Chicken Chili
*3 Chicken breast cooked and shredded or chopped
*1 medium onion
*1 can Chicken Broth
*2 cans great northern beans and I only drained 1 of them
*1 can diced tomatoes
*2 small cans diced green chili's
*1 tsp black pepper
*1 tsp cumin
*1 tsp Cayenne pepper
*salt to taste
2 cups heavy whipping cream
1.5 cups sour cream
*in a pot combine 1st 10 ingredients and cook for about 30 minutes.
right before time to eat add heavy cream and sour cream. serve with shredded cheese and totilla strips.

Love love love the serving the community, our church dose the same with a homeless shelter, I was able to take my grands with me a few weeks ago, what a blessing seeing them be the feet and hands of Jesus helping serve the less fortunate ! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

God bless you all for serving others in the soup kitchen. I was a public assistance caseworker for almost three decades with caseloads of over 2,000 families each. There were some of my clients who were truly needy (short-term), and also very grateful for the services the state provided. Levi saying the prayer for dinner was just precious!!!!❤

Try using frozen corn in it you will not believe the flavor it gives it yum yum thanks for the original recipe Leslie we love it John has Alfa gal from tick bite and cannot eat any meat with 4 hoves so that leaves chicken and seafood for him thank you again for the recipe😊❤❤❤😊

Thats what Jesus would do serve others. We had a homeless man come up to us the other day he asked for water we didnt have any but my daughter just bought a slussy and gave it to him. He was so happy. Blessings

Oh Leslie that is wonderful what your church did.i use to work in a soup kitchen every Wednesday with my oldest daughter. It is so rewarding just to see how appreciative those people are. And sometime we take things for granted. I thank God everyday for what I have. God is good, all the time God is good. AMEN! Your soup looks really yummy. Leslie, I agree with you about the cold weather in the south! I’m from the north. Pennsylvania to be exact….But I’ve been to NC and SC when it was in the 40’s and I KNOW it was COLD! For that soup kitchen. Manager should of noon you need gloves for everyone hairnet hats or bandanas around your head apron or serving jackets but I want to tell you Leslie our church has a community meal every third Sunday of every month we always have her hair up gloves and apron but hairnets are not required but you do have to have your hair up in a bun or have a bandana around it because God forbid that Florida health comes in and you not know it you guys can get fined and I don't want that to happen to you you are a wonderful wonderful blessed woman

Leslie, you have myositis, an autoimmune. Sleepless nights happen with autoimmune disorders. I have two that are active right now. Don't you take something to control the discomfort? Whenever your broth is not that rich, still use it for the liquid with your bouillon. Makes it a little more like some good broth.

About how many people would you say that you served? Is it a city or a small town? Just curious, need something like that here but don’t have it that I’m aware of. Not on a daily basis for sure! Yal had a good turnout for help.

I live in a community nearby. Their town is about 27,500. However, they have a fairly good size population of migrant agriculture workers and long-term agriculture workers who make minimum wage or less. Just as our grocery costs have risen dramatically, their buying power has also decreased.
