Oh you helped me out with a function of gaining acsess to personal ads accounts and those pixels as a partner. I know I didn't explain it right but it's been a long week of trying to get this to work and watching your video just fixed that. I even had a phone call with facebook and it didn't even get me close to getting it fixed.

Good effort with the vid but, honestly, FB / Meta Business / whatever it's called this week, has become so bloated, complicated and ever changing it is - to most people - utterly unusable. We've pulled all our resourced from FB other than a simple page - and use alternative funnels for ads. Best decision we ever made.

Hi Andrew. What if, as a freelancer, I do not have a website which is a requirement for info in setting up a business account. Do I have to have a business account for my freelance activities to then add the pages of my clients to? Or could I set up business accounts on behalf of the clients and advertise from there?

I started managing pages years ago before FB made any chances, and for some reason just got totally locked out of my personal account which is attached to my business manager and ad accounts for clients. This happened right before I was about to start re-adding myself the propper way. Hi Andrew! I work for a franchise company. I have a business manager account for the head office. Our franchise owners have their own page and ad account. Should I make sure they have all set up their own business manager account too? And I need access to their assets. Would I request access to their business manager account through partners or do I do that by requesting access in pages and ad accounts section? We have been having issues with ad accounts being disabled and it is because we are not set up properly so I need to make sure that going forward we do this in the right way. Andrew! I need some help. I am a freelancer managing multiple Facebook pages. We run out of some FB ads for a business, they paid the ad, but now they are asking me for the invoice or receipts. Because I did the action with my account, the invoice is with my name in it instead of the company´s name. I don't know if I missed a step by creating the ad, like setting up another account. I think the Business Manager contains all the tools and the Assets while the Ad Manager is more about Ads and Cards and Payments. I think that if you share the Business Manager with someone but not the Ads Manager, that person only can post, they can't create an Ad and making the settings and using your VISA card for the payment, that person have to entry his own card and will promote from their Ad Account, and you don't want that.

The ad manager is inside the business manager. Think of the business manager like a drawer in your home, inside that drawer you may keep forks, spoons, knives, etc…the ads manager would be your fork or knife inside the drawer. Hope this helps

i turned on my two step authentication now when I try to log in takes me to either google authenticator or sms- when i put my number it says invalid and when I do the scan QR code i get a code but the facebook won't allow me to enter the code as it keep continuing to load. i cannot access my business facebook pixel now.

This is incredibly helpful, thank you!! I work for an agency - does that mean I should give employees of the agency access under "people" and not under "partners?" We have several employees so it makes me a bit nervous giving so many people access to the agency business manager.

Yep! Best practice would be to add your agency employees as "people" inside the business manager with appropriate access (definitely not admin!). And then you only assign them access to the accounts/pages etc. that they're working on. So they don't have access to the Business Manager per se, they only have access to the assets (ad accounts, pages...) that you assign to them. Partners are when you're getting access to a client's ad account and other assets. Once the client is added as a partner, you can then assign 'people' from your agency to those partner assets to work on them. Hope that helps :)

Hi Andrew hoping you can help me with this issue: I have a business page for my nonprofit FB made me create a person page first, here's my issue, anytime I or my admins post our person name show up however when I check other account there is not a persons name on the post under the business name. I don't want to show our names on the post.

Hi! If I understand correctly, you’re referring to the “poster by …” under the page name on each post. If that’s the case there’s no need to worry - that’s only visible to admins of the page. Other people don’t see that :). To check, Get someone who’s not an admin to take a look for you
