You can tell they respect each other, they always gave each other very warm and respectful handshakes. I wish more girls were like that in tennis these days.

Maria won her first grand slam at 17 years old. Jelena Ostapenko won grand slam at 20 years old. Both won their first grand slam at a very young age, they must respect with each other a lot.

Agree. If you notice, once she retired, Serena and Halep just kind of stopped trying and without Serena motivated, she just isn't Serena and that has a huge residual effect on the tour.

What's so special about her being called as potentially the one of the best actress in history? Is it because that could be you? Trying to tell the world that you used to be a line judge for the US open before you miraculously won an Oscar one day? Because if you dont win at least for an Oscar,GG, Bafta, Sag, EMMY, or a Tony for Best Actress, then that will not count your resume as one of the best in history one day. 😂😂 Other than that, i have no idea what is so special about 4:33 other than perhaps trying to catch some attention for yourself in the long run? "oh,wait! If my fans go to their youtube account, and finding the link of the Sharapova vs Ostapenko video, in particular this specific one, they would be able to watch me as one of the female line judge, short haired and much younger before I am an actress! And here i am today, one of the best actress in history! A claim to be so well predicted by myself as i wrote this comment under anonymous KZfaq account. And Sunset Boulevard is my all time fav movie because i felt like i was a reincarnation of Gloria Swainson.. Lmao"

I really miss to see Sharapova play on court. Her delivery was always so powerful and on point. So accurate. Her style was elegant. Her drive was tenacious. Her returns were crafty. Her forehand ferocious. Her double-backhand feared. Her leftys surprising. I was always sure she had 1-2 more slams in her, if they hadn't cut her run short through the dubious "doping"-ban. But then her injuries got in the way, at one point. Maria for sure is one of the greatest greats and wonderful to watch - ever since she had introduced herself winning Wimbledon at 17.

Here you can clearly see Ostapenko devolution. She was thinner, fitter and hit harder. Now she's fatter, slower and hits weaker.
