Do you have pain into your toes? There may be a couple reasons for this.

Omg I have the worst pain in my big toe it’s like a electric shock of bad pain that wakes me up out the dead of sleep and I almost have to cry out it’s so bad sometimes.

@@vectorm3832 luckily it went away my feet are still banged up from work but I don’t have the horrible pain attacks anymore.

i have a small spot on my toe that has like, an intense sharp pain on it, its like if a splinter was inside of it, the pain started when i was on the PC and my feet kind of touched the wooden floor, then it started to hurt im still not sure if my toe is just the way it is or its because my shoes are too tight but it's still hurting 😭 ok am i dying or am i just overthinking stuff? (plus, if there was a splinter in my toe, i would have noticed it before since every time i got a splinter on my toe, it's like- barely exposed to the vision)

Hi Doc, I have severe pain under my left foot thumb. The bones is moving freely however there is immense pain when I try to press against the "1st Metararsal". Unable to walk properly and unable to wear shoe. This pain developed suddenly without any accident or foot getting hit. I used to walk and run and play for hours. It;s been 3 days and am unable to see a doctor as I am in a different county and it might be a while till I see one.

Until you are able to see a doctor, it might help to cushion and protect the area. 1. If you have soft/cushioned material, place it under the entire ball of the foot. This could be an extra insert you have in a shoe. Just make sure it doesn't feel too tight in the shoe. Also, if the insert is full length (raises up the heel), make sure you put it on both feet. Raising up the heel on one foot only can create pain in areas like the knees, hips and lower back. Another option is to cushion the ball of the foot, but cut out an area for the painful spot only. This will create a hole for the painful area to sit in. Keep an eye on your feet if you plan to do this one. Make sure there aren't any other pressure areas causing pain where the border of the hole is. 2. Wear shoes as much as possible, especially shoes that feel more comfortable. If you have shoes or sandals with built in support, it's possible the support can take pressure away from the painful metatarsal. 3. Stretching the calf muscle and the bottom of the foot (pull the toes up) may help as well. Don't stretch to the point of pain though.

MY PAIN IS LOCATED IN MY BIG TOE RIGHT ON TOP IT FEELS AWFUL LIKE IM BEING POKED WITH A NEEDLE THERE OVER AND OVER AGAIN SHOES OFF SHOES ON DOESN'T MATTER WHAT MAKES IT HAPPEN

I somehow fixed it by cracking my toes again. I sitting at my desk and pressed my toes into a close position and then it randomly started. I did it agin with pressure and it hurt a snap and then my feet felt normal again 😂

I stubbed my toe a month ago my big toe. And ever since it hurts . It feels like there’s a sharp pain in the tip of my toe. Any ideas what that could bev

It's possible that the tip of the toe has been bruised or that a nerve has been irritated. If it doesn't improve, a trip to the doctor might be a good idea.
