MBIFL invited P Jayarajan, M V Jayarajan for a talk. They could have also invited Kirmani Manoj and Kodi Suni for some talk. This is the standards set by an age old publication for the promotion of literature and ideas. For those who don't know the background of Kodi Suni and Manoj should look for convicts of political murders.

Dr. Taroor, I appreciate your scholarly pursuit. I do completely accord with your conclusion that the British had looted India mercilessly. Having stated this, I would like to present to you a hypothetical situation for your further research. Before the British rule, most of the regions were ruled or dominated by Muslim rulers for more than 300 years or so. And as a consequence nearly half of Hindus were converted into Islam mostly at the sword. Had this continued for further 200 years, the entire Hindustan could have been Islamized. Thanks to the British saved the Humanity from such catastrophe. Humanity would have lost the treasure Vedas, Upanishads etc. Of course, British missionaries had engaged proselytizing. But it was, unlike the Muslim rulers, not an instrument of State Policy.

His work on the era of darkness is not scholarly..i had asked him at a book signing why he didnt mention the role of marwari merchants in driving up prices during the famine ..they were the ones that the british gave free reign via the free market principles exposed by thr british to set the prices... His reply about their role was to say it was not relevent... Setting prices high , not rlevent , during a famine ??? All these politiciians are cover for the monopoly merchants who cut their cloth being britsh opium agents...and still tun inida.. In fact birla family funded both savarkar and ganhis mivement ...for the britsh.. The head of statr of india after independence was king george the vi.. Independence actaully means franchise as does liberty.. India is still a crown franchise ..with us holding the crown as surety

Muslims riled Gujarat for more than 600 years, now Muslims in Gujarat is less than 10% Shashi Tharoor wrote this book by doing a vast research and he don't want to tell lies, do you know that he is a devout Hindu?

Roby u r grossly wrong. A. Conversion epidemic started since 12th cent , stopped in Akbar's era. 15cent . B. Ur fear of dark conversion, What possibly could ve started from Aurangzeb was checked by shivaji in 16th cent. C. Post Aurangzeb1706 till total british take over 1818. India had become dominantly hindu. (Meaning all inclusive) Muslims were treated very well (mostly were well off class) as badshah was still mughal even if maratha held de facto power. Pls think deeper and research on these lines. M sure u will agree with me.

Is this nomenclature given after going through the full history of the world and greater India for at least 4000 years? History of India is not just the British rule and freedom movement.
