ABOUT THIS VIDEO
I'm back, baby! And building a huge walnut desk made with two massive walnut slabs for the top. I found you On Foureyes, but when I learned you used to have your own channel I quite quickly binged most of your videos. While both you and Chris work great together I am kinda glad you are parting ways. Each of you has different style of narrating and approach and now we get basically double the content. Best of luck growing the channel, can't wait for the next video.

When I first started watching on Foureyes, I think I started with the video that Chris introduced the fact that you were officially joining the channel so obviously went back and watched the back catalogue from both of you. I even wound up with a mug and a t-shirt at one point (lost in a fire) so as much as it is bittersweet to be moving to two channels again I believe that it is overall a great move and I am glad to two channels to rep and have twice the video to watch again! I built my version of your Chessboard 3 years ago, and plan on making another as soon as I have access to the tools to do so (again, fire) so I'll call that my celebration of this channel being active again. Cheers, thanks for the woodworking and rhymes!

Another excellent video about an excellent piece of furniture. Full plum is good. Handy for playing Clue/Cluedo. The difference between scrimp and skimp is that scrimping is avoiding expenses to save money, and skimping is cutting corners i.e. doing a dodgy job, in order to save money. So you don't want to *skimp* on sanding.

I luv the friendship and camaraderie that comes with partnerships , that being said, I know its also has its challenges. I subscribed to both your channels way back when you had your own shop (at least the crazy hair is still around) and Shaun was working out of his garage. It was fate to have found your channel, and I had no idea that you were both buds. So imagine my surprise when you poped up @ four eyes and well I thoroughly enjoyed what the two of you were churning out. As an armature wood worker/maker.DIYer/tinkerer myself, (which was what drew me to your channels to begin with) you both either served as the ruler to measure up against...or it was like the two of you were a sounding board against my own life to which to relate to. When you (and Shaun) partnered into the big shop , well it was then getting beyond my existence. But it was fun to see your evolution. And Evolution has to happen now again...... I wish you (both) luck, whatever the choices may be for your futures....

Great to have you back Shaun, you are more talented and creative than you think you are. I for one missed your style as an individual and I sincerely hope you make a financial success of the channel. Prior to you signing on with Foureyes you were my favorite woodworking creator by a country mile. Good luck my friend from the UK. Maybe you can answer a question I've always wanted to ask, why the Union Jack on your old workshop wall?

Really appreciate all of that! I’m hoping for the same. My dad is from Northern Ireland, so I have a lot of family in the UK and have spent a lot of time there over the years.

That’s awesome that your getting back to your original channel. You and Chris produced some incredible stuff on Chris’s FourEyes channel but it will be great to have you back onto your channel. I’ve learned an awful lot from you guys that’s for sure and I’m always so inspired by your work.
