A vocal coach once said it's as if she has a fine dial for each of those vocal tools, because she can increase or decrease them at will. I want to compliment you for recognizing the different styles in Angelina's voice. Very perceptive. As you may know now, she started singing at a very early age, and with her Alto voice, she gravitated toward Jazz classics, R&B, and Blues. She won the Norway's Got Talent contest at age 7. I would recommend her cover of the Etta James classic, " I'd Rather Go Blind" Be sure to pull up the video of her at age 12 (?), just sitting on a couch and nailing that song. At age 15-16 she covered the Whitney Houston classic "I Have Nothing" and several Adele songs. Lastly, check out her live performance at a Jazz Festival of the Labirynth song "Mount Everest" She is, without a doubt, the most highly skilled vocalist of her age, maybe any age.

This performance was my introduction to Angelina as well. I immediately had to listen a few more times and then went on to check out everything Angelina. From her audition on Norway’s Got Talent (2014 - age 7 - Gloomy Sunday "Billy Holiday") through the final on America’s Got Talent The Champions (2020 - age 13 - Goodbye Yellow Brick Road "Sir Elton John") and the 130+ videos in between you will not be disappointed. This includes three originals song: “What Is Life”, “Oslo” and “Shield” Since then she has done many new covers and now her new singles "Million Miles" and “7th Heaven”, along with her movie soundtrack "Mercy" from the motion picture “The Hating Game”. As well as her brilliant version of Elvis’s “Suspicious Mind”. My personal favorite is her cover of Lana Del Rey's "Born To Die". Although “Mercy” is really growing on me.

Our Barefoot Princess loves jazz... I am not a singer (except for being alone at home) but one thing is clear and that is that Angelina has a tremendous breathing technique. She also have a very good pronunciation of every word she sings and for me, half deaf and not having English as my native language, it is something extra though I can hear almost every word she sings. You are now official in the rabbit hole of Angelina Jordan, she have done Billie, Amy W, Adele, Elvis and Lana del Rey with bravura. Having the ability to sound like the original artist but as her self at the same time because of her unique voice and arrangements. Her own songs is amazing and she will be (is) a huge artist...beside being a very humble and caring person, collecting and giving away a lot of money for people in need.
