This man was on top in the mid to late 70s. So much soul. Boz Skaggs has been around a long time and was well respected by his peers in the music world, long before he became a household name in the 70s. Just so talented both as a guitarist and singer. He has a very distinctive vocal sound. Very smooth. His other huge hit from the 70s is called "Lido Shuffle." It's very good as well. Thanks Shawn

Boz is smooth as silk. He has a great album called SOME CHANGE, with songs like "Sierra." "Lost It," "Time," "Illusion," "Call Me" "Follow That Man," and 'I'll Be The One." These are all hidden gems that show his soulful sound and songwriting skills. More Boz, please, Shawn. It's a rabbit hole you want to go down.

Back in the 70s disco days, I went to an underground club called "The Gallery." A good DJ builds the music up, then gives you a bit of a rest with a chill song that would reduce our crazy heartbeats! Well, the DJ played this every week in the morning, and that let us know the night was nearly over. We dancers were in ecstasy whenever we danced to Lowdown! Great memories

Enjoy your reactions, there’s 5 public pools in SF, Boz used workout at the Columbus park pool in the early 80’s, unfortunately I was at Balboa or Visatation but fellow lifeguards saw him all the time. I saw him once when he walked into a bar called the Saloon, where you belted out 2-3 songs just off the cuff, back in the day when SF was cool.

Boz Scaggs played in the early "Steve Miller Band" and toured with them occasionally in the 70's. When I saw them, Boz opened, then Steve Miller did his show, and then Boz came in and joined them for the last few songs and finale. If you find early Steve Miller albums you will likely have at least some Boz Scaggs on it with him.
