I just want to say THANK YOU for taking her to an actual piercer, rather than one of the places in the mall. It's way less risk of infection biggest difference is also a gaged needle is doing the piercing so it actually takes a tiny chunk out. It helps with healing and not closing if earrings are left out for a while not saying there are classes for it but they have been trained and have inspections and require blood born pathogen classes at least once a year in my state

I’m so glad you took Brinley to the tattoo shop to get her ears pierced it is the safest way to go. So many still go to Claire’s. Can’t wait to see what she makes with her fabric 💜

Also I like the fabric Brinley picked out. Very pretty. A little tip. Please have her wash the fabric before she sews her project. When it is washed after it's sewn there is some shrinkage & it can separate the stitches. Also washing before gets the stiffness & coating out if the fabric. They can go in the dryer on a med to low setting. And may need to iron out the wrinkles. I sewed lots so I thought I would share this with you. Happy sewing.

Yay, Brinkley! Now you need to start thrift and yardsale shopping. Always tons of fabric, scraps, old clothes or towels, tablecloths, etc to be found there. Some of my Grant's best quilts were made of old skirts and curtains.

One way for Brinley to get fabric is to take old clothing that may have holes or stains and repurpose them by using all of the fabric that isn't ruined or bad. So many clothes are thrown out but there are so many uses for the fabric. Can't wait to see more of her creations.... Glad to have my favorite family back. Love your family so very much.
