I wish they interviewed more athletes rather than just Cami almost every episode providing perspective or retelling a past event. I feel like I knew majority of the team members back in earlier seasons. Nowadays, I don't even know half the team members (which could be in part of them or their parents not wanting to be on camera.) I’m glad Malieya and Sam recovered well from the accident.

Kelly Beickner yes she is one of the veteran team members like Ari and Alexis, but even in the past they didn’t interview veterans/people with the most experience majority of the time like when Jazzy was on smoed. But in the end, it might just be the team member themselves or their parents not wanting them to be filmed.

Daski28 I thought, if I remember correctly, she wasn’t going to return and didn’t try out. But then her and I think Ari as well(?) decided to return to all stars and that’s the reason most of the interviews were with Alexis in the beginning of this season.

damn these comments need to stop bashing malieya. she is an amazing flyer and has been on smoed for multiple years. she has hit perfect routines at competitions and she definitely deserves her spot as center.

Smoed was the best when Eddie was yelling and made them do conditioning after every fall/ touch. The tough love Eddie needs to come back

Jess Sebron Eddie got a little soft after he & Orby became daddies. I think he has the potential to come back and be “scary Eddie” again. I’m excited to see what AQ (after quarantine) Eddie can do.

THIS IS SO TRUE!! Literally! Eddie use to be like a tyrant and mistakes were not an option. I wonder if the owners told him he had to loosen up or they would have to let him go, or if parents and athletes just complained about him. Either way, his methods were proved with the results. Period. SMOED NEEDS CRAZY SCARY EDDIE BACK. ASAP.

They still do all the conditioning they used to. They don’t film it as much because Eddie got lots of hate for “abusing” the kids

Natalie is so underrated, happy to see some comments acknowledging her, she performs with the most passion and facials, I get that she's maybe not as experienced as Malieya (who I love too) but tbh she is a bit more reliable would love to see her as centre next year

i yeah, i feel like for the elites the should have switched malieya and carissa. i understand why he wanted to do it but i think it’s just putting so much more pressure on that group to hit. the only reason they might not change it is because the choreo is built around sams tumbling pass before the elites

Kailey has come so far from the beginning of the season to now, she has grown so much and really proved herself. She can be proud! No matter what happens at the comps, she deserves to be on this team and she is a great flyer

only like 10 are out of state. just because they are from out of state doesn’t stop bonds. the cali natives usually click with non cali natives but ok. we know who doesn’t watch the show

I dont get it. Nathalies backspot does not tumble, all she does is stunting. She has the Privilege to be on smoed in her first year of allstar cheer and without any skills besides backspotting. I dont get why she doesnt act like it. Aaaand stace got soooo much better🤩

Did you not see the episode were she came in, they needed a back spot so they put her in. And she explained that she has only done high school cheer and she just went to Cali this year. Ya I don’t understand why she still in that spot but you guys should get your facts straight

Eddie doesn’t operate the same way anymore and it shows in the way the team performs. I’m a huge smoed fan but they just don’t have that “it” factor anymore

Car accidents right before competing is scary. Last season my mom and I got into a car accident on our way to a comp (we were okay) but Bc my body was in shock my coach didn’t want me to compete (I did bc I didn’t want to do that to the team). So I understand how Eddie and Sam felt when they returned from the hospital.

I know that pain because I did NCA, the first day I was not feeling good and on the second day I felt pain. I found out I fractured my wrist but we did win!! 3 time champions!!

Jenella Sotoya smoeds elites and running tumbling vs. brandon’s just isn’t there, brandon’s raw score was a 99 and smoeds was a 97, somebody correct me if i’m wrong

i smoeds raw was a 98.5, 1.1 behind bsb. And that’s with quarter turn libs instead of toss cupies. in the off chance worlds was to happen, smoed just needs to clean their execution and add difficulty in coed stunts and they can beat bsb, their difficulty scores for day 2 are all the same with the exception of pyramid bc of smoeds missed skills due to falls. also smoed beats out bsb in standing difficulty by .10

As someone who has had a ton of concussions, there's no way those 2 kids don't have some sort of concussion after that car wreck. I'm surprised they didn't address if they were tested for them at the ER/Hospital.
