Is there any reason why you didnt cover in OSB and wrapping before putting up the smartside?

LP SmartSide siding is actually a fancy type OSB which comes with a 50-year warranty. Of course, one could cover the framing with the house wrap and then apply the LP SmartSide siding. The thicker version of the LP is approved to replaced the OSB sheathing and the siding.

I love the height! It maximizes usable space without using a lot of yard space. Its great for storing taller items that won't fit in most sheds. Plus it created space for much more unobstructed natural light. I love it! If I wanted to reduce the tall appearance, I'd use a lot of tiered landscaping around it.
