Yes, just like cars and anything else that is financed.
Sheds are typically on rent-to-own terms and if they fail to make their rental payments we pick them up.
My wish is not for anyone to get anything repossessed but rather for everyone to make great decisions and prosper.
I understand people fall on hard times and that sucks but it all comes down to responsibly, if you can't pay you can always voluntarily return it.

They probably do have an attorney because they've been caught doing some stupid shit in the past and had to hire one. From that point forward, they think they have a personal relationship with that attorney and when they call they think he's going to drop everything to handle whatever problem they're having. I know this because I was one of those dipshits many years ago (minus the rent-a-shed and pajama pants).

In alot of cases, I tend to agree. But I have a shop that I store tools, outdoor power equipment, chemicals, and other such things in. Would that be called too much junk/ trash? I wouldn't want to store any of the stuff I store in my shop in my house. That could be Very dangerous.

@@Anon-Amos That is not what I am talking about, that is what is supposed to be in an outdoor storage building. Plus I bet you bought your shed or if you rent to own you paid your bill. What I am talking about is people living in poverty and spending good money that they don't have on storage rentals for useless home decor items, toys, clothes they don't wear, Christmas decorations, and broken home appliances.

When we moved out to the country, we bought land with almost zero storage. We ended up donating or gifting about 60% of our stuff. I never felt more relief! Before anyone asks, no, we have NOT replaced it with more stuff. Today, we build things with what we own in mind, and if we don’t need it, we do not buy it!

Then I sat and wondered why I had all the stuff in the first place, guess people, including myself at one time, thought the bigger the house, the more crap you didn't use or need was status or a temporary sense of success....anyway, took me most of my life to live comfy and simply. ✌️

I know two women who had heart attacks and heart surgery and STILL are smoking against their Dr's wishes🙄😒. Not even that stopped them from smoking 🤨. It amazes me how people put smoking habbits above the feeling of their families love for them.

@@murraychadwick9362 it is very hard to fathom. My mom was diagnosed with lung cancer after a lifetime of chain-smoking. Her diagnosis was when she was 60 years old. We sent her to a hypnotist several times but she never really wanted to quit. Her stopping after the diagnosis of lung cancer wouldn't have saved her life but watching her continue to indulge in what was going to kill her was very hard from a family's perspective. After speaking to her oncologist, he explained that at this point the damage was done and if she got any pleasure from smoking why not let her live out her days that way. I didn't like it but he did make me understand from a different perspective so after that point, I never ridiculed her anymore for smoking. She died almost a year to the day after Her diagnosis

Dr told him point blank EVEN if he cleans up his act at this point he will be extremely surprised if he makes 60.

I think she was saying what she owed went to the end of her contract and she made payment arrangements to come out on the 5th but in the end she called and paid the arrears instead. Now she has a crooked shed on the property lol unless you moved it back. I also got that she was making arrangements to move the storage building to her fiancé’s property. 🤷‍♀️ idk. You definitely need to watch out for people pulling a gun on you. People be crazy. 🤪

Somehow Josh and Sarah’s videos made their way into my KZfaq feed and I’m happy. I love watching them. I’m being very enlightened as to how some people live. The junk, trash, garbage, filth! I can’t even. How do they even get approved for a rent to own??? I live in Canada. We pay taxes and have garbage, recycle and compost pick up weekly. Is this not the case in Ohio? They all seem to have tvs, pools, and lots of unnecessary crap but can’t make a payment on shelter?.. I’m at a loss to understand all this. Help me understand.

The correct tamper-resistant bits are available at almost every hardware store. I work on appliances and I have to use them all of the time. They come in bit sets that are no more expensive than your average set of common drill bits.

People hear what they want, and they dont read the legal agreement. It is right in the RTO contract that the purchaser is giving RTO and their representatives permission to come onto the premises, for delivery, and removal if necessary. Im not sure, but I think that you can legally take the stuff in the building also. Any permanent additions stay with the building.

Yo Brother Josh, anyone that finds themselves in a situation where their rent-to-own property is being repossessed for non payment has zero chances of engaging an attorney. It's what we call lip service when these people say, I'll call my attorney and take you to court. The fees they would pay a lawyer just to file a for a court date would surely cover the cost of the shed. Also, a lawyer would not go up against an iron clad contract that the shed company has surely put together to cover all circumstances. I'm glad you don't have that drama to deal with anymore but I will miss watching it unfold each week.

I bought a shed, paid for it in full up front. Can't afford one? Don't buy it. And don't buy crap you don't need. I'm glad to see they repo these things.

They don't buy that crap. They don't have to. The landfills are full of yesterday's flat screens that still work and last years iPhones..I am only exaggerating a little bit. I resent comments like this because assuming that these people are spending their rent money on their possessions is just an excuse for a lack of compassion and understanding when you can't be that dumb in reality.

When you rent to own these buildings there is a paragraph in your contract that states you give the shed owner the right to come on your property to retrieve it for missed payments.
