I used to be one of your patreons before you moved to texas. You taught me everything that I know Kenny. Unfortunately I pretty much stopped watching. I know this is old but that’s amazing how that turned out. I have no personal experience, but had family who went down that path. That one of the most difficult battles to overcome. May be old news for you and I’m just some stranger online.. but I’m still proud of you. Hope you’ve been remaining strong and keep sharing your story! People need that.

This is such a perfectly timed video series you just started because I have been using prewrapped coils from those coil packs you can get for about a year and a half now and I recently started looking into the benefits of making your own coils. The chinese prewraps are made with less pure chinese manufactured wire and a lot of those coils you get in the packs are useless because of their ridiculous shapes. I find myself only using like half the coils in those packs. Can't wait to watch all the coils building vids you make I clicked the bell so ya boi ready.

I smoked for 21 years and finally quit with vaping.Been building for About nine months now. And vaping for 13 months. Decided early on that I loved aliens and I was determined to make those. I couldn’t see spending the money for them. All your videos help me when I first started and I still go back to them. You teach smooth and easy techniques and your videos are put together great man. I am ok up to double fused claptons so really looking forward to triple fused. Would like to see more people build their own coils, in our local vape shops their is very little in the way of building supplies. Ditch the Pods rebuild!

Thanks Sherlock has informative has always I'm right handed myself but actually find it easier to use my left hand for the wire and right hand on the drill I actually started clapton and fused clapton free hand and tha treally pays off when you start using swivels

I got prebuilt coil on the package it says Alien Coil 0.35x3/0.15mm SS 316L 0.20ohm ID 3.00mm. Now, I don't know what the "0.35x3/0.15mm" stands for and what to enter in the boxes I see on that steam engine site. How do I know what the diameter of my Alien is since it's obviously got 3 cores of what gauge(which I don't know) and wrapped with what gauge? I also don't know. It says 0.20 so I assume dual build will ohm around 0.10? In the total resistance box, do I put in 0.10 or 0.20 if I'm dropping 2 coils on my build? and what's my diameter at last?

where did you attach the wire on the other side of the drill at the start, right before where the ball bearing barrel swivels are on the opposite side of the drill

Glad you are doing these videos man I've been vaping for about 2 years now and would like to be self contained when it comes to alien coils I can do a clapton but struggle with the alien for some reason. Maybe it's my fat fingers idk. Ohms law is something everyone should be familiar with before starting and battery safety. If anyone new has a question about it ask someone before you get into it. Or just become a electrician and it is all second nature then lol

It is. Just make sure to get ball bearing swivels. Not the normal snap ones. Get KROK brand. They are 10-12 bucks for 2 but worth it. If you don't get the ball bearing stainless steel ones they will bind up and ruin builds quickly due to the heat and friction

Saying vaping is 95% safer then smoking seems inaccurate. Im sure its safer but where did you get that number? Seems like you may be pulling that number out of the air because there is no way to tell exactly how much safer especially right down to the percentage.
