Shillingbury MPD is a modern image 00 gauge layout which is a work in progress and under construction for the exhibition curcuit by the owners of the american Twin Falls Mining & Logging Rail Road (see my other videos for more information) which has won best in show multiple times at various model railway exhibitions in the U.K, so this is sure to be another superb layout. It is operated by Gaugemaster DCC with the Progidy Advance 2 control system. The layout will eventually be a complete circuit for continuous running and express trains and long freight trains. Shillingbury MPD will sport various modern day locomotives such as the class 31, 37, 47, 50, 57, 60, 66 and eventually, the 70, along with DMU and EMU's from Hornby, Bachmann, Heljan and Vitrains, some of which are sound fitted. The overhead catenary is all completley scratchbuilt a combonation of plastic and brass.
