Shiny 4% Seadra in FireRed after 13,604 fishing encounters!

Phase 1 for 40% Qwilfish is a beautiful rare 4% Shiny Seadra! I went into this hunt absolutely convinced I'd find one of these so I'm not totally surprised. It just seems that fishing hunts in FireRed/LeafGreen like to give you either this Seadra or the 15% Gyarados.
A really cool shiny to find in the wild especially in Gen 4 considering how low % it appears. The deep blue is a very nice colour. Hopefully 40% Qwilfish isn't too far away on phase 2.

Huge congrats! It's always so cool to find different evolutions for a line instead of evolving them all up. 4% is well deserved.

Sorry about your awful droughting this year (can't believe Farfetch'd is at 17K+!) but congrats on a really cool, low-percentage find! Seadra's shiny is one I don't think about often, but it looks really good, and what a crazy difference in Colosseum. Hope you've been doing well! Glad to see a video from you.

A really nice and rare find before Qwalfish. Specially when it helps on a long term project like a living dex. Also, I haven't found a shiny on a main series game this year yet. Like you, it's not that I haven't been trying but because of droughting as well. So I can understand the lack of uploads, but surely luck will turn around for us one day. Congrats and gl on phase 2.

Dude that is SO AMAZING!! I finally got my shiny Chikorita in heart gold after switching things up and hatching a shiny Horsea at 200+ eggs... My shiny Chikorita hatched at about 100. Now I'm after a shiny Murkrow and the game corner Shiny Dratini to complete my shiny dream team. Both are being stubborn. Almost 1000 eggs for murkrow and I'm not even counting for Dratini. 😅😅😅

Seadra is so cool looking, you're pretty lucky for finding it with such low chance ! It reminds me of me looking for a scyther, but could only find it in the natural park on HG/SS with a 5% chance, gave up on the idea of getting it, and hunted instead a 40% nincada. Ended up getting the 5% scyther, bruh.

I know it's crazy to ask since it can be mentally draining but have you ever thought of "speedrunning" a shiny living Pokedex? ( as complete as you can)
