I’m sorry, but if a task force commander of two Seal platoons shot an allied source in the face, he would have been relieved of command, moved somewhere else, or shitcanned. If we shot someone in Iraq in 04-10 we had to do shooter statements even if it was justified. No way his entire team and the CIA just shrugged their shoulders and carried on. The Demming guy is a clown. He clearly has a hard-on for Jocko, and is repeating shit talk he’s heard.

The main problem I have with Deming’s claims is that by his own admission he wasn’t there to witness any of it. Everything he claims he says “I heard from so and so” “the word going around was”, etc He hasn’t provided any receipts to back up these things he learned second hand either. It’s also the fact that he made that claim about 36 marines KIA that turned out to be impossible for it to even be true I would also say even with his claim about Jocko shooting a source is true, a event that he didn’t witness and he provided zero evidence to back up, saying Jocko shot the guy because he was feeling insecure and pressured into it is pure speculation on his part Point is this guy just says things that he either heard 2nd hand or even worse are pure speculation but he says them as if they’re facts and provides nothing to back it up

Im not saying Deming is 100% full of shit I do think it says something that many guys both who served under Jocko, or were his peers, or even high ranking officers above him who were in Ramadi associate with him and speak highly of him Deming is accusing him of heinous things. Cowardice, murder, corruption, war crimes, incompetence, negligence, like some really bad shit. If he was as bad as Deming is saying I don’t think this many respected guys would associate with him and speak so highly regardless of his clout I’ll put it this way: im not saying to a certainty Deming is full of it. I’m raising the bullshit flag without watching anything further than the guys statement. Meeting unknown friendly forces in a hot area is one of the most dangerous linkups that can happen. We never met an unknown source without strict, pre-planed bonafides steps which includes many things. How the source is carrying a long gun, if he has one, was always part of the process of checks. IF Jacko saw a guy who could’ve been their source and smoked him as soon as the dust cleared without going through the process, I don’t think anyone on his team would accept that level of incompetence no matter who he was. Second, I’ve never met a source who was just standing anywhere near our insertion location specifically for the reason that insertion is one of the most chaotic and dangerous periods of the mission. We always moved to a different area to do link up instead of hanging around the spot a fucking helicopter just landed any longer than necessary. Unless we inserted on target moving directly into the hit, we always painfully waited patiently until everything cleared (SLLS). No chopper noise, no dust and you get the “feel” of the AO before moving. Also, the FLIR of the insertion platform didn’t pick up some guy just standing on the LZ with an AK?? There’s just too many eyebrow raisers in that claim to believe it. If it’s true and the team leader compromised and failed the mission immediately upon hitting the ground by smoking a high level asset, a friendly force without whom you couldn’t reach your target and achieve the objective, don’t you think, especially at that level of ops, SOMEBODY would’ve heard about it? I’ve never heard of any team putting up with anything like that even if it’s someone you love and have been fighting or training with for a long time. But Demming still has yet to even attempt to capitalize on this in any way, including developing a following anywhere online. Which makes it all even more confusing and bizarre 😂 if he’s doing it for attention, he’s kinda bad at it. If he’s planning on releasing a book or getting a book deal, he’s bad at that too, because he’s telling the whole “story” now and leaving nothing for the book. He could just be disgruntled and bought into rumors and stories he heard that aren’t true or are partially true at best. Or he could be telling the truth. None of us can really know, but guess and take a side, or guess and attempt not to take a side. I for one will need corroboration in order to believe this murder story. It’s just too wild to believe without actual evidence or proof at all. As for Jocko being a loon and reckless at that time, I have no idea but that doesn’t sound as hard to believe. That sounds totally plausible, and reasonable to beleive happened. I think Jocko embellishes and puffs himself up to create an image and narrative to his life and persona that he can heavuly market and profit from. I think he’s noth8ng more than a grifter that offers nothing in return for all the money people throw at him. I’ve read part of his book and couldn’t finish because it just annoyed me too much. But im not into any of that self help, bootstrapping porn nonsense so it’s prob more about that than his book actually sucking more than others in the genre. @@harrythomasjr8521 you say you’re an 11B like that gives any credence to you having a fucking clue about how all of this works lol. Thank you for giving me your background though, now I can just roll my eyes and move on.

Thank you for shedding some light on this... I'm a civi so I only know what hear from this community. I sincerely appreciate your measured response. It didn't sound even plausible that this action(s) had happened but the more I hear from rational/reasonable SOFs the more I am assured that most all of you are the best trained in tactics of war fighting but also how to engage the enemy legally, morally and lethally when necessary.

You know the biggest thing i got from that podcast was that the dude was mad nswf didnt pick his dojo to train seals karate. Bro you guys are paid to shoot, not foot fist way

jocko episode 439, with Gen Mcfarland does a great job at refuting the narative of this guy.

Interesting I’ll have to check it out. I’ll say from a perspective of someone who hasn’t watched either of their stories, this one seemed so far fetched it’s almost impossible for me to take seriously.

Jocko didn't shoot a CIA source in the face, the guy accusing Jocko of murder, is probably jealous of Jocko. Just how the guy said it, he basically shot the source in the face. The guys lieing like crazy and sounds made up for sure

WTF is wrong with SEAL's all the do is bicker at each other like women. Jacko should sue the balls off that dude for defamation.

That's today's culture, period. We're surrounded by snitches and bitches, like a bunch of kids trying to complain and taddle their way to success.

Obviously this is clipped out of a 2 hour podcast so it omits quite a bit of context. But Deming is no liar. If he said it then its true. We should be praising the guy for being committed to something higher than the brotherhood. Enough to hold his own community accountable. Rather than trying to shame him as a backstabber.

The people who allied themselves with tribesman in Afghanistan who took little boys as brides, really are saying that they didn't kill their own translators, civilians or non-combatants for fun. Right...

@@ValhallaVFT Are you literally going to deny reality? Why don't you go watch this neat little film called, "This is what winning looks like" where (at specifically the 51:20 timestamp) the subject of child sex slavery is brought up, including US servicemembers "confronting" them about it, nothing more than a lighthearted discussion lmfao boy, you fought for pedos. @@TGuard00014 Doesn't matter, accessory to the fact. If a mother had a child and was letting her boyfriend mess around with that child, she would be charged as an accessory to the crime. Same applies here. There is no "loophole" or spinning that can justify American taxpayer sponsored child sex abuse.
@TGuard0001411 күн бұрын
@@NeutralUnderstanding by that reasoning you were also an accessory since it was your tax money that was paying these guys off… Legally the U.S. military is under no obligation and in fact has no legal right to stop child abuse or child sexual abuse. One might argue they should inform the proper authorities but since it was the proper authorities doing it I doubt those reports accomplished much.

The other guy is lying. Really hope Jocko does sue him if he's damaging his reputation/credibility. Jocko has enough of a "following" that people can see, the person is just jealous and causing issues. Destroying another person's reputation and credibility never makes the person they are spreading lies about, look bad. Instead, it always makes the person spreading the lies, look bad or even criminal.

This guy is throwing crap at every Navy Seal. He has no first hand knowledge and he would be more credible if he had something on just one guy. He seems to have a problem with every Seal who has had some success in life.
