Shocking REACTION to Kanye's "Come to Life Reaction." What will the DAM Boys say?

it’s understandable how hesitant you are to his music because of how he is portrayed by the media, however, after knowing his true intentions it’s clear that he is extremely misunderstood. yes his old actions can easily make someone believe that he has a massive god complex and ego but recently he has realized that he could not find true happiness in himself and this world so he turned to God. whether you are christian or not it is clearly amendable how he has found true peace in his life and given up his old ways of living. i know you said you probably won’t listen to any more kanye music but i highly recommend you do so. some songs similar to this one are runaway, ghost town, violent crimes. runaway especially, is a musical masterpiece that encapsulates his struggles and also portrays his perception by the media. hope you check them out and great reaction !

@@BiigJuicer I agree, it does seem like people are starting to take notice of his brilliance though, especially after the more christian gospel direction he has been taking his music recently. People don't seem to understand how bi-polar disorder affects people and their personalities. I almost guarantee a lot of Kanye's TRUE feelings and perspectives are found in his music where he has time to formulate and feel out his own emotions. When I look at Kanye acting out in public, I see a lot of the same characteristics that I see in my bi-polar father. My dad is much better at formulating his thoughts and feelings through writing, and often goes through similar manic episodes where he grasps for any sort of control. He gets overwhelmed, and responds in drastic and irrational ways, and later regrets his actions. I bet Kanye is very similar.

Well said, one thing I'll add is Kanye has also had a traumatic brain injury which will make formulating thoughts on the fly especially difficult. Thanks for sharing your very relevant story. @@DAMmusicshow He is def open to criticism and I agree he has made mistakes. But I think that we all get caught up in celebrities, we speculate and gossip but ultimately none of us know exactly what's going on in their lives. At the height of his controversy after the Taylor Swift VMA incident I listened to My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy and acknowledged his genius for creating great music even if as a person I thought he was a piece of shit. Almost 10 years later I listened to his complete discography in order and now have a much more nuanced and sympathetic picture of Kanye as tortured genius. This was a pleasure to watch, especially from Darren. Somewhat disappointed that I can’t find another Kanye reaction beyond this one. Any chance y’all would prioritize another Kanye reaction in the near future?

Sure. Any song in mind?

@@DAMmusicshow a good one but long is runaway (full version is approx 9 mins, the music video is censored and not the whole song). Otherwise for shorter songs I’d recommend “Jesus Walks”, “Devil in a new dress”, “Saint Pablo” or “Ghost Town” (sorted oldest to newest)

I like how he covered his mouth to not associate with the Bo Burnham slander, as if you can even include Bo Burnham in a discussion about Kanye. Difference is Kanye is massively influential to a large population while Bo Burnham puts out music for teenagers lol.

You obviously have no idea what Bo does. He isn’t a musician he is a stand up comedian who uses music in his comedy. Way to show how uneducated you are on something while immediately calling it trash
