Just want to point out that everything I'm saying may not be 100% Accurate. My opinions are based on the perspective of the Boba U4Ts and what I'm seeing and feeling from the switches on hand! The descriptions of the Tactile feedback may not be accurate as well. Just saying what it feels like to me. Please take what is said here as a grain of salt. I'm a rather casual switch enthusiast, just saying what I feel. Also sorry for the none NA viewers, getting these will be pretty tough and expensive right now so they may not be the best choice. At least the sound tests can give you a idea on what you might like!

dude GREAT video! u4t are very nice. played with holybobas for a while and spring swapped them with everything sprit had to offer. they sound amazing but they are just to intense for me. even lubbed omg. the u4t are just the most tactility that I could reasonably daily, and they sound amazing. you went all out on this video. me likey!

Yo don't publicly execute me for this blasphemy but u4t stems in MX brown housings are god tier. I've tried all of these switches as well and they all have significant leaf crunch... except for MX Browns. I personally LIKE the sound of leaf crunch and T1s are my secret fetish, but if you like really really clean sounding thocky tactiles, try u4t stems in brown housings. It's like cherry spent all their r&d on making dank leaves and nothing on actual tactility, and the opposite for all the others lol.

I ordered Everglide Dark Jades and I think they are more tactile than the Holy Pandas that I made, as well as the one Zyko that I made from spare parts. They are incredible and you should try them out if you haven't

I have a Switch tester and the most tactile for me is NK Blueberry the most soft is the Gazzew Boba but in a good way feel like tactile silent memory foam and is my favorite tactile from all tactile switch. The HolyP or GloriusP for me don't feel like tactile is somewhat between a linear and tactile like a Logitech Romer G switch for refence only a little bit harder to press on HP & GP.

Glorious bobas will be more expensive for sure, but will feature a slightly stronger bump. I just made one now to test, and I think they sound the same as u4ts due to the boba housing.

Hopefully you get your hands on EG Dark jades (Moyu Blacks). IMO the sharpest stock switch. Would love to know how they compare to the frankenswitches you have

part of linear gang and currently use Gat black ink v2s lubed and filmed... However I just put an order in for 90 Bobas as I'm planning on putting them in the Keychron Q2 ( if I can get my hands on one in a few days ) if I cant ill wait till a tkl board comes up and put them in that ( maybe an akko board? ) I think I have watched this like what 6 times? maybe more just to get an overview of the switches lol.

should throw the halo stems in the durock t1's. You'd be surprised at how tactile it is. I've tried a lot of different variations with the halo stems and durock t1s/koalas just hits differently.

for me filming my stock u4t's made them the slightest bit deeper sounding. It also removed a tiny amount of spring ping. (Alu plate + kbdfan film + stock u4t's)

I'm not sure filming removes spring ping (not sure why you'd film but not lube the spring in the first place). I'm pretty sure it removes leaf ping which only happens when you bottom out and the leaf is now vibrating after flying past the tactile bump and isn't touching anything to keep it from vibrating. This is really common with Zealios as well.

frankenswitches are expensive and honestly not really worth it unless u really want to go that extra mile. Those gateron cap switches do look interesting, maybe I have to try them out soon.

My fav frankenswitch has to be Novelkeys Blueberry stem + YOK Panda housings. I find the tactility so strong in these that I can lube 'em up with 205g0 (including the legs) and it still beats everything I've tried so far. In terms of sharpness I would say it's somewhere between HP's and Zealios. Sharper than the former but more rounded than the latter, with a strong upstroke. Dunno if it was just the batch from Drop I got, but when I tried Zykos for a while, inevitably all the Panda top housings would crack if the switch was opened more than a couple of times. Still got a mass grave of HP's laying around. >.>

Yoo that sorta sounds good. And yeah the drop housings don’t work that well for zykos from what I’ve heard. The yok panda housings are better but there’s still some issues like the leaf popping out. Rip all the pandas that died due to zykos lmao

My T1s and Kiwis all sound hollow and plastic-ee without lube. If you skip the lube, go with the durock Koala 🐨, they have a nice, light coating from the factory.

Honestly I thought the Browns sounded way better lubed (sounded deeper and fuller), which I’m guessing is due to the full nylon housing. I like Ergo Clears and find their sound profile interesting, but it’s all preference in the end.

So I tested the Zealios 67g, Holy Panda, and Boba U4Ts (68g). The Bobas are definitely the most tactile of the three in my opinion, and for almost half the price as well. But I decided to rock Bykos as my daily driver. Zykos is also really nice. Waste of money but curiosity got the better of me since everyone was raving on about Holy Pandas 😅

@@hisdesciples Yes they're basically the same as the tactile versions, but silent. Though Zealios is quite silent on it's own so feel free to try those. If price is an issue, then try Boba U4s (Though I'd probably prefer U4s over Zealios tbh). And yes, brown switches are the worst kinds of tactiles 😂

I am planning to make a frankenswitch with zealio stem + tx springs. What top and bottom housing do you recommend? Judging from this video, I might use zealio bottom housing since you said their leaf is the strongest?

Yeah to me the zealio leaf feels the strongest, If you like the zealio feel just keep the stem and bottom, and maybe change the top with panda or boba tops for a louder/deeper sound

Would you say that it's worth it to order U4T's if I already have Holy Bobas? I kinda fear that the Holy Bobas are so tactile that they will kinda stick to the board i'll be using them in D: I also have Koalas and I'm torn between which switch I will use in the Kara and which one I'll use in the Saka 68 (brass).. Really not that experienced when it comes to the tactile game!

I used the switches from the panda housing which were 60g. I like lighter switches personally.

Hi, what are some other halo Clear/true stem alternatives? To get that cream or holy panda alike shaking spray can sound. Really would like to know.

There's not much out there yet, definitely not many you can purchase as stem alone.. But the alternatives tactile switches with the long stem pole are Kailh Polia and AEBoards Naevy Switches. I'm not sure how the rounded bump will compare.

@@mrscotchguy Hmm Interesting, I also heared that kailh pro burgundy supposed to have a similar stem to creams (Linear) but its a shame we are not able to get those Halo Stems seperatly :(

@@jenkmeier2406 I have some pro purples that I was planning on testing out on some panda housings, night try those stems in the Bobas, but my experience is most stems don't fit with the Bobas due to the tighter tolerances.
