I built a wide one with a 12 ton jack, decided to put a 20 ton air in and it buckled the top support. Rebuilt it with a very large I beam on top and works fantastic. I added a winch with a cable to raise and lower the table and love using it

That's awesome Bob. I have a used 12T enerpac hydraulic jack (standard lever action), and some salvaged 4x6" (100x150mm) channel, all set aside for making into a hydraulic press. I was going to approximate the design of the sunex 12T tabletop design, which is a fairly common design. But I also love the design of yours there. Thanks for sharing.
