Quick tip for you: paying attention to how the other pieces attack is important. Since you are a King, you cannot attack while in their crosshairs, called being "in check". That's why your gun will occasionally not let you fire, and why you thought it was because you were "too close". The game was forcing you to move out of check. Additionally, you are unable to move yourself into the line of fire, so that's why it occasionally does not let you move to a space that should be within your reach.

also: with the blade stat, if a peice is bellow your blade damage, and its next to you, you can execute it for free also also, karma was a big downside, on blacks it made your gun less accurate

Wait I didn’t know that this was happening. I’ve been playing shotgun king on and off for a while on pc, and not want to come back to it. It looks like they just made it look cleaner and add a tutorial though.
