Thanks for the kind words David! That giant RR is pretty much why I probably won't be buying this bike (in addition to the hideous exhaust and catalytic convertor). I'm also looking for a change since I just sold my 2014 S1000RR not too long ago. Stay tuned because there will be a new bike reveal next week! :)

Have heard nothing but good things about the BMW. You'd probably be happier with the BMW unless you really wanted a change, judging from the way you talked about both.

I am still on the fence on whether to purchase this bike. It's mainly due to owning a 2014 S1000RR for almost 2 years. I think I am looking for a change, but I love the feel and smoothness of the BMW. By the way....there will be a new bike reveal next week!

I literally just sat on a 2018 s1000rr today and the 2023 s1000rr and the 2018 was more comfortable, but damn the 2023 looks way better and is comfortable as well just as comfortable as the 2018. This will be my 1st BMW and i'm sitting home wondering which one to grab as well becore either get sold. Did u get the BMW or the Ducati?

I'm not familiar with the price on either bike but personally I would go for the BMW, I just think it looks amazingly better but not to say the Ducati looks bad. It's difficult to tell someone else how they should spend their money, it's such a personal decision. Good luck on making a decision. :-)

Thanks Brad. The main reason I will probably pass on the BMW is because I already owned one for 2 years. I think I'd like to own another bike, and if I don't like it, I might get the all-new 2019 BMW S1000RR that is coming out next year. Stay tuned for a new bike reveal next week!

I wouldn’t go for a 2018 model unless you get a really good deal on the price, I am pretty sure that there will be a whole new BMW S1000rr for next year, a major revision and update.

I'm kinda torn, there aren't many twistys in FLA bit a few hours north is all the bent roads your heart can handle in GA. The Ducati is pretty but you know what the BMW is all about. As for my vote, I say get what makes YOU happy and enjoy the hell out of it! #Blazeitup 🔥🔥🔥

I’m not up to date on Ducati and their high maintenance issues of the past, or the cost between the two bikes in comparison. I might base my choice on that and comfort, cuz if I am not comfy on the bike, then I probably won’t ride it much.

The Ducati's are actually very reliable now compared to the past. The 1299 isn't a super comfortable bike, but the experience of owning a Ducati is always something I have wanted. I do love the power, comfort, and smoothness of the BMW S1000RR though. New bike reveal will be next week! There are also more contenders that I will be posting videos of this week!

Im doubting rn between 2016-2017&2018. anyone has knowledge and can tell me the big difference between these gens and if its worth to go all the way for 2018 one.

The 2015-2018 S1000RRs are all the same Generation. I recommend at 2015 or 2016 with low miles if you are lucky to find one for a good price. Cheers!

@@MB-tu5ki I think you should have no issues selling. S1000RRs hold their value because they are great bikes that everyone enjoys. Good luck on the 2016!

Dude I am 5'6-5'7 do I have difficulty in driving the s1000rr?I want to upgrade from r3 to a 1000cc bike

You could always get lowering links and have them installed. It would help with the height. Power control and handling is all personal touch and skill. You could potentially have trouble with that part. Good luck!!

Good video, dude... but you really need to get a better gear for your mic. It's hard (almost impossible) to hear your voice commenting on the bike, so low and muffled it is. Apart from that, nice job!

Thanks! Sorry about the audio quality. I had just moved to Florida and my regular wireless mic was still being shipped over at the time I filmed this. Had to use my iPhone to record. All is good now though for my current and future vlogs. Cheers!

just got same bike going to pipe it flash it and put 3 tooth on rear sprocket. maybe take 1 of front . don't need to do 300 kph. the top of the range acropovic full titanium is 3500 Australian

@@TheDucatiPilot they say the stock pipe is great it's just a little heavy . the flash and ratio is key and I want this bike to start the lift at 3 to 4 thousand rpm not 5 like its doing.. the fun is over then on short straights..Im not looking at top speed when do you do 300 even 250 it's a low down in revs that I want it comeing up .... stock in 2nd gear 120kph 8500 to late...power comander doesn't remove restrictions... I can get stainless headers and full price is then 2200$ Australia

Watch out for the TaylorMade Exhaust! I've heard nothing but bad things about them. It's a shame because the beautiful looks of it will attract unsuspecting buyers.

I've heard this from a couple Subs now. The taylormade exhaust I had on my S1000RR was awesome an I never had an issue. Maybe I was lucky and sold it before it cracked, broke, etc.

I absolutely loved my 2014 S1000RR, but I think it's time for a change...at least until 2019 when the all-new S1000RR is released! ;)

I passed on buying it because the new S1000RR was coming out. I purchased a Ducati Panigale 1299S, but I am thinking about trading it in for the all-new S1K. We shall see!

I like the small RR better, I think you can remove those big stickers. My 2015 does not have the huge RR, it has the two little ones by the tank (because mine is tricolor).

BMW added the giant RR in 2017. It was the main reason I didn't upgrade from the 2014 S1K. You have a beautiful bike! I'd like to buy a 2016 tricolor actually! We'll see!
