I put one on my croc 75 and vista/v2’s works fine for close range

I’m using those linear antennas on the Pavo pico but also on my 2Fiddy build and (I’m not a long range pilot) I haven’t noticed any degradation with the O3

That's not even fpv advice, that's life advice.

Tested it out with several antenna - rhcp/lhcp/linear. No significant difference in woods penetration. The cheap linear plastic antenna (like the router ones, not the flexible pigtail) action surprised me- equal results to my CP rush cherries and foxeer lollipop, if not marginally better. No flippidy floppy test though- was mostly cruising between branches. So i cant attest to whether it gets worse when out of alignment.

That style does work well on the Goggles2 and the O3. Be warned, it makes your drone more attractive to trees. (Especially really really tall trees.)

I put dual Foxeer RHCP lollipop antennas on my O3 Air Unit. OEM antennas on the goggles 2 and I get great reception and range. Mind you, I’m not going past 1/2 due to where I fly. I won’t fly over peoples houses.

Iv used that cheep antenna after trying it out i now put that crap antenna on all my micro drones and i even stuff it inside the drone so its safe. Should i stuff it in to my drone no i should not but it works on my micros

But the older goggles V2 were also linear antennas!!
