In this video I review the all new Sinnis SM-R 125, This Bike is definitely a big improvement over their previous bikes and it boasts their new 125cc engine which is their most powerful 125 engine they have ever made! Coming in at 14.8bhp (11KW) this bike scrapes the limits of what is aloud for a learner legal motorbike.
Theres no doubt that the styling and looks of this bikes are very good, but does it perform as well as it looks? In this video I test the acceleration, power, handling, braking/stopping power, suspension, and tell you everything you need to know before buying this motorcycle.
As I've said before 125s could be the answer to the fuel crisis at the moment as they are cheap to run and very economical.

Its a good starter bike good video again .after watching u and the ole man i have put an offer in on a big cruiser fsncied one for ages a kawasaki 1500 meanstreak looks wicked keep up good work

These are great bikes for beginners and experienced you want an economic commuting machine. Second hand value does drop off because of build quality. My advice to any young rider buying any bike is keep it under wrap against the weater, garage if possible and invest in acf50. Coat the whole bike in it and keep the bike clean. It will pay in the long run. Great review again!

Btw. another 125cc bike that is in that sm category is the Aprillia 125 SX. Would be cool to see a review on that one!

Agreed they do look the part but as soon as you experience any issues sinnis will leave you out in the cold. I've got the older version of this bike (the sm 125) battery failed after 3 months and then at 1100 miles it dropped a valve and destroyed the engine. Sinnis wasn't interested and informed me they no longer stock the parts even though they still have dealers selling the model on ebay.

I wish more of these, shall we say, "more economic" brands would make bigger bikes. Few of then seem to be interested in the A2 market. A2 original, not restricted, bikes are awesome for the (usually) limited weight and moderate horsepower for winter and rain use.

Hiya mate struggling between this sinnis and a benelli tnt, which is best for fun,off road green lanes,reliability,wheelies etc cheers.

Not a bad bike. Seems to run pretty good. Sounds good for a 125cc. Looks ok. Good learners bike.

Interesting bike, only style of bikes I like other than Cruisers and it is also Hyosung powered like my Aquila GV125s

First, love you and the muscle bound older gentleman. Second, a motard or dual sport is a great learner bike…but a 125 is just too small here in the U.S. A 250 is even too small to ride on our interstates.

Interesting Motorcycle, especially because most of the 125 enduro bikes don't have a road legal version. About the A1 license though... I don't think the A1 license is a waste of time because it makes it possible for 16 year olds to ride bikes and, apart from just having fun, use bikes to commute to school for example. Anyway, keep up the good work lads!

£3500 otr is crazy cheap. The suzie DR125 had a prehistoric air cooled 10 horse power motor and cost £1800 thirty years ago. That'd be over five grand in today's money!

I think if you played with exhaust and air filter it would be well over the 14.8HP

Its a nicely styled bike let down by a weedy engine. If only they would let learners ride 150's like in the third world it would make a difference. They are no faster but have more torque which is a safer bet on the roads as even basic small cars nowadays can accelerate pretty quickly. Stupid licence laws.
