Should you put a CAT C18 Turbo on Your CAT C15/3406?

Күн бұрынTheres always a guy somewhere on the internet asking about putting a C18 motor into his C15 powered road truck. Well, lets talk about the only thing we are remotely required to talk about, the turbo on it!
Fun Fact: The external size of a C18 block and C15 are actually the same! The extra displacement is achieved by bore and stroke differences.

Some Cat applications run it dry. They sell block off plates.

This turbo working in cat 3406e 5ek? I have bully dog stage 2 in this moment. And not used cooland. Only I’m looking another turbo running more cool. This engine have melody hp 699 and 2200 torque

Couldn’t you just hook the coolant lines up like they originally were intended to be on c18? When does the wastegate open on that? You forgot to mention cast iron compressor covers Can you do a video explaining what a boreless compressor wheel is?

Naw use twins smaller they spool quickly with fuel tech anti lag e waste gate no spring or non waste gated ceramic ball bearing
