Episode 7 part 2 of SHOW & TELL has arrived, shook itself off and is now trashing your house. In this episode Stephen is joined in the kitchen by very special guest - dog photographer extraordinaire Ben Burfitt, also known as @actsofdog. After looking at some of Ben's amazing dog photos, Stephen and Ben will be judging their very own Crufts or Dog Show of dog photography. Featuring dog street photographs by some great photographers both old and new in a variety of different catagories.

@@stephenlesliephoto not yet, very close. There is a desire to bin watch the series but that would leave me in a Show & Tell famine. Best to pace oneself and digest each episode with afterthought and to savour the promise of a new “to me” episode. Having said that, its time you got busy on more mate 😎as always a pleasure.

Wonderful! Ben was a great guest. He should have won the first prize… and ‘some’ gear talk is surely permissible! Ha ha! The kitchen setting is great! Perhaps an episode on photographers who photographed kitchens would be interesting?

This is without a doubt, the strangest, most bizarre, serious photography video that I have ever seen. Truly superb and most enjoyable. Dogs in cars, I thought the rough dog in the battered pick up was a winner. It really looked like if the dog owned a vehicle, that would have been the one it had chosen (assuming the dog doesn't actually own the truck... But I am unsure of anything now).

@@stephenlesliephoto yep, I have been watching them in order, but I do go in fits and starts as I am easily distracted by all the twinkly things that KZfaq etc throws at me. A thoroughly enjoyable series so far, and I do really enjoy your presentation. Very unique, even amongst other slightly off beat photographers that I follow on t'interwebs. Also... Power to the baldies. A very under represented band of photographers.

Loved these photos ever since I first saw them at Documenting Britain (Instagram). But please, stop zooming. I like to take in the whole picture myself. Otherwise, you're having the no.1 youtube channel right now!

Thanks very much, I'm glad you're enjoying it all. Re the zooming - you are the first person to object! I just feel it makes the films flow a bit better, sometimes I have the image up for quite a long time while I waffle on endlessly, so I think people would complain if I didn't zoom! However, I will wait and see. If a large anti-zoom movement springs up, I'll zoom less. Honest.

@@stephenlesliephoto Well I think it's me, having grown up in the 70's with a super-8 filming father that suddenly upgraded to a camera with a zoom lens. From that moment every holidayfilm caused seasickness since he couldn't stop zooming. Ever. So, if u think it gives that flow, zoom on. I'll still enjoy the show. It's worth a bit of seasickness. PS. Found out a couple of years ago that this zoom mania had developed further. Dronefilming indoor. DS

Thanks for watching, I know the Moriyama photo you're talking about and it almost made it in but the problem is there are so many dog photos we had to cut a load out because otherwise the episode would have been about two hours long! Now thinking of making it an annual event, so please subscribe, stay tuned and we might talk about it next time....?
