I've heard this a lot, the problem is that sometimes the perks require a lot of synergy (things like thanatophobia, or forced penance for example). If 1 or both perks require a lot of synergy it makes it harder to show off their actual usefulness when I have to force them into a build together.

@@OhTofu i know it would take WAY too much time to make those videos which is probably the reason why you dont do it,.. but wouldnt it make way more sense to use the shrine perks 1 time in a standard killer build,... and 1 time in a "forced synergy" build if they only really work under those conditions? to show off WHY they are so bad and not having to manually explain it every time?

Yeah, once you get into the math of how long it takes 4.6 m/s to catch up to 4.0 m/s you realize just running away is an amazing technique. Then when you do get get to a loop you only have to circle it once, drop the pallet, and take off again to waste more time. That’s why IF IF IF your teammates actually do gen it’s hard for killers

Not all killers have two ultra rares unfortunately

Agreed, I feel when I run pop I always see someone after grooming and have to decide if regressing a gen 20 seconds is worth giving a survivor an extra 5 second head start, or more if I have to walk a bit to kick it.

@@johnwarner4178 well and from a survivor perspective the slow down impact of it is not that big a deal. You got to regress gens but I almost feel like sloppy or thanothopia is better than Pop also surge combo with ruin. Now with undying I don't see using both but it's a option. I will say that surge, surveillance, pop, BBQ is strong on my freddy. But I'm thinking undying, ruin, thanos and bbq or surveillance will be better. I mostly play 🐖 and apparently the bad killers. I don't use freddy very often but he is strong but that's a different topic

@@jordankibbee3441 yeah I think BBQ, undying, ruin and surveillance is one of the strongest freddy builds now. Or replace surveillance with Discordance

I use it to juke killers it's not a great tracking perk it's really good on mobile killers but whisper discordance among many others are more effective. It really is mostly for blood points

Thrilling, discordance, and ruin+surveillance are all better imo

@@jordankibbee3441 I am better at tracking with it. I get juked sometimes, but it still tells me more about where people are than any other perk, at least in my experience.

@@alranican @Alranican I get that, not in mine tho. I like BBQ best for tracking. I'm terrible at reading thrilling, anything with a hex is unreliable in my experience, and disocrdance is pretty good, but it does require 2 people to be on a gen, which I've had entire games where that didn't happen.

It's not a bad tracking perk at all but as far as if I'm really trying for the win on most killers other perks are better. Tremors is not as good as bbq early game discordance is best in game mid game it's surveillance just in general and especially in endgame it's whispers. BBQ certainly works just there are better options. Also infectious fright is often forgotten about but actually is better than most realize. BBQ on 🐖 is great on high mobile killers tinker outclass BBQ as well. You won't lose games relying on BBQ just saying if you haven't try some other options you may like them better. Combo it to start to see which actually helps you win more. As far as discordance that is so rare for it not to proc if it doesn't I'm guessing that game went pretty easy.

Killers are at their strongest ever since the game was released. They just need to rework/buff low tier killers.

@@explodifier6021 That or gens should be in more center (looking at that 2 gens that at the opposite corners of Ormond). They need to be careful with it though. If they lower some map sizes for low tier killers, those maps can be nightmare against high mobility killers if they do it too much.

I been playing for 2 years and a lot change in DBD. Back then 95% you'll get three players the same rank and the way they used to play was more fun back then. Now is full of toxic players. Note: might be wrong the way we play now.

It’s really just about experience and map knowledge. When you play survivors with thousands of hours it’s always gonna be rough.

It's pretty much impossible with certain killers to win against the red rank guys and I really hate that. Clown for instance. If you're a wraith god you can pull it off, but clown will take way too long to kill everybody or even reach them on certain maps. Yeah, I'd say Nurse, Hillbilly, Blight, Oni, Hag and pyramid head are the only people that can overcome high rankery bullshit. Unless the teams not that good.

@@Klausinator451 teams can either be good, bad or just messing around. Me and my friends got called trash because we were mostly messing around with head-on with flashlights and pulling off some crankers (spins) instead of doing gens. Not everyone wants to be an M1 simulator and kinda sad that you'd get called trash for messing around as survivor lmao

@@jiovannizuccar1 Tofu is one of the most skilled and experienced killers out there but when playing advanced trapper usually you want to set up a web within 3 maybe 4 of the closest gens trap every loop and just patrol them. His gameplay isn’t chase oriented he is better if you make the survivors come to you.

Im getting redranks as rank 16/17 killer. Matchmaking is broken in this game. Even as rank 20 killer i got once rank 1 survivor in a match...

Not really, to do that you would have to start placing a trap mid chase. That gives that just as much extra ground as respecting the pallet would.
