my youtube people's how are yall doing? Thank you all for your love and support. It truly means the world to me. you guys are the reason I do this. Thank you Thank you Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
this video is not exactly an in-depth comparison of the Tvs, but it is more so an initial reaction to what I personally noticed so far. I want to really use the tvs more in gaming to do a more in depth look into more differences but I thought I would share certain things I noticed right off the bat with seeing the tvs side by side strictly in game mode. All I ask is, please, give me your support with a simple lime and subscription. It would really mean a lot and help me out more than you would even imagine.
I hope this video is somewhat of an eye-opener for you and helps you out. Thank you all so much, and I will see you in the next one.
0:00. Intro
3:15. tone mapping off in game mode for each tv.
10:25. Tone mapping on
14:58. A95L is the brightest but not better in certain factors
17:18. Fine details with G4
19:39. Close ups are examples
23:45. Gradation in highlights and banding close up examples.
25:55. clarity and 3d/depth perception of the 3 tvs close-up examples.
30:30. Closing words and thank you.

After weeks of research, i ended up on the G3. The Samsung S90C QD-OLED is amazing for the price, but I trust LG much more with my money. There were just too many issues surrounding the S90C when compared with the G3. The Sony A95L for me isn't worth spending over £1000 more over the G3 at 65 inches.

Sony will do all of it though. Their processor works best with compression, up conversion, motion, etc. plus it will play well with consoles and overall picture is competitive.

So this may just be my take, but the 3D look that LGs give, and now that “extra detail”, I believe is an oversharpening. Now, if people love that, like people love the over saturated look of most Samsungs, or the overprocessed look of the Sony, I fully get it, and literally no TV is perfect. I just personally feel like now that the latest oleds get so bright, along with their infinite contrast and vibrant incredible colours? Now is truly a wonderful time to own a flagship tv. The G3, The G4, the A95K and A95L, the S95C and S90C (really not a fan of the S95Ds matte finish personally), these tvs are genuinely mindblowing for anyone who hasn’t seen or owned a modern oled. What a time to be alive for TV/display enthusiasts and owners

Actually, the makers of the tv confirmed that the tv look is due to the contrast specifications they implement into their algorithms. Having more accurate blacks/contrast allow for details to look more realistic with better shadow detail as well, giving it the more realistic/3D feel. LG perfects their “blacks” more than the competition (QD-OLED usually has lifted blacks/less shadow detail for some reason).

@@pablozapata9694exactly. The blacks are so much deeper in the lgs imo. This is why the image has more 3d pop this year. I have a lg c9 Oled and briefly had a s95c last year. Something about the blacks on the Samsung just wasn’t as good.

@microcomeser7217. Hey, thank you for the comment and checking out the video. Absolutely. I totally understand. And I certainly do use reality creation, live color, gradation preferred, but I definitely do not put sharpness up to 50. I keep sharpness down to about 4 or 5. Otherwise, to me, it starts cresting over sharpness and creates artifacts and halos around imperfections on faces and fine details. But that's the nice part about these tvs. You can customize them to your liking. I am more of a fan of reality creation on and gradation preferred for sure, though. I use it all the time. Literally almost 100% of the time.

After reading comment that says it doesn't have as much deep black as LG. There is a reason why? Because It is missing a polariser filter in QD-OLED so it may not look as deep black as LG gets. The front panel when you shine light on QD-OLED has pink tinge on the coat. Thats the reason why it may have raised black level, its not that much as it is rather minor anyway.

I made this comment in another one of your videos, but if you’re able to record in HDR on your phone or camera and export in HDR so it’s an HDR video on KZfaq that would be awesome. It would make it a lot easier to see the color and brightness handling of each tv.

The G4 pulls ahead in depth a bit however I don't see a Day and Night difference in between any of these Three, so pretty much that leaves us with the decision weither you prefer the Red purple tint of QD Oled or the Green tint of LG Oled's. There are shades that MLA can't reproduce the way QD Oled can. The A95L is a very Eye pleasing TV, it's slightly softer than the G4 but these Colors look incredible.

A95L is great. However my perception of 3D looking the best definitely goes to the G4. Couple that with the colours getting closer to QD-OLED and the G4 takes it. I do wish Sony had made a revised QD-OLED as ultimately I want the processing of the G4 in a next gen QD-OLED panel. It’ll probably exist in the next 1-2 years 😊

It’s been proven already that the A95L has the best motion and if anything, the A95L and G4 are tied. Many of us have already done videos with the G4 and A95L to prove this. Also since this portion isn’t a motion test and he’s running this game through a 3-way splitter, it could simply be a slight fraction of a second difference in his splitter output where one of the ports could be affected by this. I would by no means count this as an actual motion test to go by.
