For anyone that uses cura and the x1 these profiles a must, i already had 4.7 so skipped the first bit, and all is good, prints are coming out very good and at the end end the bed moves to the front now :D (sometimes its just the little things)

AWESOME I could not figure out Slic3r that they recommended and didn't want to pay for simplify 3d! I didn't copy the files correctly the first attempt but went back to the resources file and added them. I can't explain how happy I am to be able to print more than a cube! Now if I could print from my Mac life would be complete lol....

same for the mac. Copy the folders and in Finder navigate to Library -> Application Support -> Cura -> x.x(your version) . Now paste the folders there (they already exist so you are overwriting all). From there open Cura and follow these instructions (profile is in preferences)

hi, can you please help me, I installed the Cura program for my artiilery sidewider x1 printer following your vide and everything went smoothly to the point where I needed to inport data into profiles from the 3D Nexus Cura 4.7 Profiels and definitions folder so it appeared yellow exclamation mark with the following message: Successfully imported profile 3DN Standard Quality # 9. Warning: The profile is not visible because its quality type 'standard' is not available for the current configuration. Switch to a material / nozzle combination that can use this quality type. can you help

cura 4.8 is out ..can i use the same nexus profiles linked in this video on to cura 4.8?

will there be any issues with these profiles for 3.8 ? as that is the now offered download when going to the ultimaker site..

do the profiles work on cura 4.8 too?

I just downloaded Cura for the first time, 4.8. my print head settings are populated very differently for some reason. Should I change them to what you have in this video? Xmin is -20, ymin is -10, xmax is 10, ymax is 10, gantry is 25

Fyi theres a bug in Cura 4.7.x which makes curves really rough stay on 4.6. 4.8 beta is better but not as good as 4.6 :)

would it not be simpler to just list the changes made to cura, instead of making us download profiles that require cura to be uninstalled lol.
