I've been following Sierra for awhile and I'm just blown away by how she's developed as a singer and performer. Her voice is so much more versatile than we could have imagined. This performance was Aretha-worthy and it sent chills up and down my spine. Lovely. Lovely. Lovely. 💪🏻

Could not agree more. This type of talent transcends genre's and era's. I consider myself to be highly critical and a bit of a music snob. I don't have very many favorite artists. Most cannot continually produce good art. Sierra is definitely a unicorn. I am continually blown away by every new performance posted for the last several years.

I wish she'd put out a record that was more raw and unproduced sounding. I was so excited she finally was able to put out an album last year, but it just sounded too polished, it lacked the same excitement from all the live video performances.

That was f_cking ridiculous...her amazing pipes aside, she has a vibe, energy, and edge to her that just owns every song she sings. I find her videos grab total 100% of my attention as she so easily pulls you into what she is doing and how's she doing it. And the band was right there along with her. They sound like The Band. Man o man.

God, in an age of horrible breathy-poo female voices or over-souling it is refreshing to just hear someone kick the song out without overdoing it or breathy-wisping it! Love her! Woman's a treasure!

I'll have to admit that I just discovered Sierra and I can say her music has brought me so much happiness! I'm constantly trying to find good music by scanning KZfaq and boy did I strike gold here. I went down the rabbit hole and watched every video of her I could find on here and I am just blown away by this lady. What a talent!!

Sierra Ferrell has a brilliant, gifted voice. Her tone, phrasing, heart and power are just amazing. A truly amazing person and singer. Better and better every day. Love to see Sierra in her vintage styles working with great musicians for all of us. Make a place now in the Country, Bluegrass, Blues and Rock Halls of Fame. She will be in all of them and more. We are so lucky to hear Sierra and bear witness.

I hear what you are saying and Sierra is in the list, in the running but really I hate trying to pick on greatest. Patsy? Loretta? Dolly? Janice? Billie Holiday? Ella? Karen Carpenter? .... I had exactly the same thought, plus when I listened to her singing Lullaby of Birdland, it reminded me of Ella. Sierra may remind us of other great singers but I have to say she is totally original at the same time. the styles may vary, but she's always Sierra no matter what she chooses to sing.

This chick is fantastic, she has brilliant & subtle creativity in how she puts the touch on a lyric. Fresh sophisticated and sassy + real vocal chops = completely compelling. I wish I could buy stock in Sierra Ferrell. I've been invested relatively early. :) When KZfaq recommended her GemsVHS In Dreams performance to me, I was blown away. I thought she was a fantastic singer and excellent songwriter. I was utterly delighted when I bought her albums and discovered that all of her songs and great. I really think she can go on to match the likes of Dolly Parton and Linda Ronstadt. Damn I wish I could buy some stock in SF... ;)
