My ex never “asked about me” but he would always send my best friend messages on social media like.. I’m glad you’re still hanging out with her, she looks happy, you guys have fun, be safe, etc when she would post pictures of us hanging out but would never contact my friend otherwise. She stopped telling me about it because I asked her not to talk to me about him. I’m trying to move on. As for the joint accounts, I made sure to separate everything right away after we broke up. I didn’t want any attachments to him. It’s been almost 9 months post breakup and 5 months NC.

My ex hid the person from me. I found out and called her out on it. We talked. She keeps telling me she never ruled us out of getting back together and doesn’t know what the future holds. Interesting… my avoidant ex (on all 4 breakups over 2.5 years) has not once, blocked me, left shared Spotify playlists, stopped following me on Strava or deleted pictures from shared albums (that what I usually do lol😂 - but not this time. I’ve been very grown up about it and after a slow start, now in NC). She has kept all the romantic gifts and plants that I’ve given her and even a soggy (the card not my poetry ;-) ) poetic hand written valentine’s card that became all smudged and bleary after water was spilt on it. Kept it all. But as someone else has said, why put up with all the crap that avoidant type dish out to good people?

Yeah, I did that AFTER I heard about her sleeping with someone FOUR DAYS LATER and then getting into another relationship. So no, I did not move fast like you. It took ALL THAT for me to start talking to someone else. Not the same. She was slightly jealous in my opinion.

My ex has started NC for 1 month and I am going crazy. I expect the NC to last 6 months or more as I had neglected her, refused to listen to her advice for 7 months. Well my ex never watched my stories and he still doesn't. He never posts anything and never really did but he didn't delete our picture on insta since the break up but i think he just forgot he still has it. Lol. Bought the complete workbook series i'm eager to work on myself💪

I have an ex who, while we dated, paid a subscription to a sports magazine for me... personally i never cared to read it, even though i like sports. 2 years after breaking up with me and still dating the girl he cheated on me with... i still get the magazine... he pays for it... i throw it in the trash everytime. He can stop paying any day and i would not care. I would think if you were wanting to move on with the person you left for maybe youd quit paying for subscriptions for your ex... 🤷‍♀️

I am still on her Spotify. I am finished with her and have moved on. I blocked her for my own peace of mind.

Holy crap, i only thought I was going a little mad to be honest, but after that bit on them trying to make you lose emotional self control… YES, she tried to make me mad on my bday, I made a post out with my friends just bowling and having fun, and guess what happened an hour after I posted it..she reached out about her things being picked up the following day (which we already had planned)- nothing about the bday, then the following day she posts that she went for a walk with a friend of hers whose bday it was and made a public post about it, and made a post saying happy birthday specifically the day after. Her friend had no one post happy bday on her page and that’s why it smelled like a ruse. Passive aggressive posts online, and removing me without blocking me- as well as yes… she still has pictures of both of us on social media.. she deleted some, but left a decent amount.. I didn’t break no contact, I had those moments where I was mad and wanted to send something but didn’t. This was an interesting listen, I’m going to continue with my personal growth and focus on myself without putting my life on hold for games to be played when I was miserable when she left. This has helped see things better, and I’m glad I didn’t react. I’ve been practicing my stoicism in no contact haha!

Her issues with trauma from her last relationship and her subsequent avoidant tendacies from that made her pull away a lot of times, and made me anxious as hell 😂... she felt like she needed to end things as id always question the commitment when she done things that seemed cold. Went no contact, then i stupidly broke it after 2 weeks and she said i need to stop messaging her (with a crying emoji) and lone behold she messqges me christmas day. I gave her relief in sayong im open to talking, now havent heard anything for a few days. If we can both work through our trauma and heal i yhi k we will be back together. But only if the healing is done, i cant carry on in the anxious avoidant cycle.
