At this point, I think it's worth objectively looking at the last ten years and what commodities silver HAS beaten. You could have invested in ANYTHING. Lumber? I don't even know what it was in 2024. And I know it's come WAY down from recent highs. But I'll bet my bottom dollar, without even looking, that it's outperforming silver.

The only reason the US is not in Recession is because they changed the definition. They say it cannot be a recession because of the high job numbers. For about 18 months they have over claimed the job numbers but they do not change the charts when the corrections come in much lower a few weeks later.

I tell ya Mike , I live in Glasgow Scotland and am holding silver and waiting to buy a home. The thing that's happening here is, homes are being sold to people in China and Saudi Arabia for high prices , without them even seeing the property. That's one of the things thats keeping the prices up at the moment here IMO, and its annoying the hell out of me.

History repeats. In the Fall Of Rome the elites suppressed the price of silver, as it was seen as poor man's gold and they did not want to be challenged in their coming feudal system, so gold prices were increased to the point it was unobtainium for the average citizen. The same has happened now. The elites use paper contracts to artificially suppress the true fundamental value of silver. Most currencies, such as the dollar, etymologically mean "silver". This is because silver is real money, not a fiat currency of the realm. Bitcoin is a gambling parler with MANY bag holders who have been fleeced by elites who can instantly move markets with large cash positions. It is not an asset, it is another tech bubble.

I love Mike, he's been prepping for the end of the world since he's been a much, much younger and healthier man. He's been telling people to buy PM's for about 30 years while being a dealer. He's made enormous commission while waiting for the end of the world. I've made great money because of him, but I sell when it gets to the fever pitch and they open "we buy gold" kiosks at the mall. The only supply to cover the shortfall now is comex and LBMS and inventories are down 70 pct since last two years . And if that some is Eligible silver and not Registered for delivery . So supply is rapidly running out . The banks cannot keep it suppressed for much longer and if they do then thank god for cheap supply . The industrial demand ie photovoltaics, solar, EV’s, jewellery, defense is huge right now . Well done Mike !

Have my silver laying around since the early 2000th. OK, yes, it did rise a bit. But today the whole market cap of it was outperformed by bitcoin. Hi Mike thanks as always for your thorough analysis! What is your advice on keeping precious metals in a secure facility (like goldsilver offers thru brinks) vs. having physical possession? Of course, physical possession carries the risk of theft or loss.... but having metals 1500 miles away in a secure facility won't do much good if the internet goes down or the delivery services such as USPS/FedEx go down in an emergency. How would we take possession of our metals in the event of a national emergency? Even to "sell" the metals and convert to cash only works if the banking systems are up, etc. I am wondering what you would recommend ?

Silver hit 50.00 in 1980. I bought gold in the spring of 1979 for 250.00 an ounce. Sold it for only 500 in 1980 because the dealers in Ocala Florida would not pay the spot price of 800.00. So keep that in mind.

Yes G&S is a good bet... you never mentioned things like BTC though, and reading historical texts are awesome reminder, it also didn't reflect the other options now like BTC to also hedge with. Especially given that BTC wallet cannot be confiscated and you can travel easily with it.

Ive been buying silver since it was $8 but the last decade has been lackluster compared to my other investments in stocks and crypto. Ive been tempted to sell silver so many times to increase my positions in my other better performing investments but I feel like silver could be getting ready to move big soon. I hope so because I almost rather put it in cash and get 5% return at least. We will see. I probably will keep it because its a global hard asset that’s likely to always be exchangeable.

Mike, I remember watching one of your videos. It was a presentation on stage where you outlined similar things you have mentioned in this video. You have since turned grey, and silver is still 50% off its all time highs while gold has surged upwards over the years as currency has lost its purchasing power. I mean no disrespect with this comment, just making an observation. I am a big advocate for gold, but silver not so much. Central Banks no longer keep silver as part of their reserves therefore I think silver has ceased to be money.

@@caseyrindal1815 Not sure I understand what you’re trying to imply. I was pointing out the fact that central banks by enlarge are no longer adding silver to their reserves. As a result, silver is acting more like an industrial metal than as money. If you’re an advocate for silver you may as well be an advocate for platinum and palladium as well. Platinum has historically been more expensive than gold. Since 2011 that’s no longer the case. The Gold/Platinum ratio is currently 2.43 which is insane and the highest on record. Platinum is a great speculative bet right now, as is silver I guess. But that’s all it is, a speculative bet. You simply can no longer put gold and silver in the same category anymore. Gold is the stand alone metal still behaving as money and I will continue to buy it to preserve wealth as long as the central banks around the world are doing the same.

We went to a coin shop this past weekend, and the owner had just finished up a transaction where a guy sold him 100 ounces of silver. We spoke with the owner and I stated that it didn’t make sense that the previous guy was selling at this time. The owner stated that all of the coin store owners that he knows are seeing the same thing, people are SELLING their precious metals because they are hurting for money. We left with 10 ounces of silver in our pockets.

Been banging on about this for a long while Mike - 2 decades and counting and hasn't really come about. Its well and good to say its a long term plan, but people's lives and investing windows are not that long. It's fine to say metals are a good hedge, and show how that holding allocation is sensible as an insurance etc - but this whole spruiking a view that silver will break out is not eventuating; and given Cryptos entry into the same space i'm afraid the old Gold/Silver ratio history is no longer valid. Silver is key to industrial products, and so it can't become too expensive as otherwise "climate saving" tech will be unaffordable and/or add to ever burgeoning inflation. Think its time to accept that silver is no longer a hedge - its either Gold or Bitcoin depending on your bent. I know you said you were more heavy into silver than gold - well think I'd read the tealeaves and changeover into the either of the other 2 pronto.

I agree that fiat currency is rubbish, but it's how our world works. Gold and Silver are nice counter risks but don't overdo it or you'll be left behind and won't get to enjoy your time on this world to your fullest.

Safety belt is not only precious metals but an overseas bolthole . Energy , food and a means to protect and transport. I would like to chat with others who are of the same mindset. Cup of coffee? Presently on Eastern Shore of Va … soon to be in NH and a week later in New Bern NC area. Refit then bring a boat to Eastport Maine. May 1 expect to be in northwest France. My bolthole is a small island in the Caribbean. No heat needed water and long growing season …. Got to finish my energy projects next winter. I would like to meet Mike M. My grandgather owned a bar in the 1960's. He jarred up all the real silver coins & saved them for his grand children. I was able to take those circulated coins & cash them in for currency in 2011. I did extremely well. This game needs patience & time.

Thank you Mike for teaching us that are looking for knowledge, poor fact is the leadership of our Nation are not wanting our citizens to know the truth of what is coming to plague our entire way of life, and our economics and finances, and our social lifestyle when it comes to debt paper currency. You see, the Debt Paper Currency not being money and being fiat, is something that will call the leadership poor, and the cause of the plague about to burn our complete system.
