I was lucky to buy that model of snare drum three years ago...great sound...and performance from greatest SiPhi...yeah

He plays jazz left handed too. If you watch some other track on this DVD you can see it. It just depends of which ride cymbal he likes to play, the right or the left one.

No,it`s Tama pro custom single ply maple from 1990...very rare!!!! Simon uses that snare on his instructional video from that year... He designed that snare...but not signature...

Yeah...that one...He was using two snares...this one is single ply maple(one piece) natrual maple finish...the best one...

@kebybeby That must be really cool man. I love the sound too. Which snare is it to be exactly? My guess would be a Starclassic maple 14x6.
