I'm here for trans gender affirmation, but I completely support anyone here for voice pranks, singing practice, cis gender affirmation, DND character voices, or just general chaotic energy. It feels terribly wholesome to see a skill be useful to so many different groups. It's like being part of a secret organization that spreads harmless chaos with the goal to make everyone in the world experience a mix of confusion and amusement. That, or a bunch of strangers accidently ending up lost in the same maze and just happy to not be alone anymore.

I'm 16, also have a naturally deeper voice but it's mostly a mixture of DNA (since I'm a lucky one and have a pretty masculine figure overall, so voice is probably related to that) and the fact I've always liked singing as a hobby, but I'm still here because for my voice to sound deeper I kind of have to force myself to speak quieter, since if I speak a normal outdoor voice it sounds androgynous-leaning-feminine and most people would assume I'm a woman.
@michaelsgotguts
@michaelsgotguts 7 ай бұрын
Same boat! I'm 17 ftm and I love singing and voiceacting. This is useful for voiceacting too, but I really wanna feel ready for my first job haha I'm really nervous. I'm lucky enough to just have been born pretty androgynous but unfortunately people can tell I'm afab from my voice and appearance. That would be nice if I were cis but it makes me uncomfortable and I'm trying to begin binding, and looking into this sort of stuff is also really important.

As a guy It amazes me how well some trans-men can do their stuff. My brother is so much more deeper then they used to be, like they used to be a bit of a yippy girl, but now, they sound more like a 20 year old male. If anything I dont even know how I can do my own voice, if anything I imagine it'd be harder for me to go the other way, trying to sound female.
