Tim the bass have a 5 octave range. Adam the beatbox is world class and does a a drum solo in all their concerts to prove he is real. Avi was the bass for Pentatonix but his mother was sick so he left. Both groups started on the show SING OFF.

Love finding people who just starting their home free journey. In the beginning I thought I had a favorite song and favorite member but you'll soon find you can't have a favorite of either. There is just to much wonderfulness and special things about each song and member! Definitely should check out man of constant sorrow, Folsom Prison blue, end of the road. However, im currently really digging dreamer, moonshine, catch me if you can. For real funny song the butt Melody (6 butt song mashup) is one for you.

Welcome to Home Free! They’re an amazing ‘a cappella’ group. They’re friends with Pentatonix and asked Avi Kaplan to join them. He can go low but Tim Foust, the bass from Home Free has a 5 octave range and can go super low. That was Tim singing the last note. When this was recorded, Avi was still a member of Pentatonix. Avi and Home Free bass singer Tim Foust are good friends and Avi appeared with Home Free as a guest vocalist. It was several years later when Avi left Pentatonix. He was going thru a lot of personal issues and needed to step away from the music business for a while. He came back as a solo artist about a year later, but was never an official member of Home Free.

The gentlemen with the beard is: Rob Lundquist complementary Tenor The guy with the long reddish hair is: Austin Brown Lead Tenor The amazing beatboxer is: Adam Rupp Than the guy with the Cowboy hat is: Chris Rupp (he left the group a little while ago to start a solo career) The guy who joined the group instead of Chris is: Adam Chance (Baritone --> also really deep) --> you will see him in: Down to the Honkytonk for example And last but not least the base is: Tim Foust I hope this helps you :)

Avi is a member of neither group. He had to step back from Pentatonix because of an illness in his family. He's done a load of solo stuff since, Change is on the rise is my favorite but all of them are great.

ROF was the perfect place to start your dive down the Home Free rabbit hole! As you listen to more of their greatness, you'll notice (again and again) some amazing beat-boxing. Most of that's coming from Adam Rupp. In order to fully appreciate what he's doing to support all of their "regular" songs, now's a great time to listen to one of Adam's "drum solos!" Go here ( kzfaq.info/get/bejne/e8eefrp9useooJs.html ) for an amazing, instrument-free, "drum solo" by a human drum kit! Only one more standard suggestion for new home fries -- save their cover of Cam's beautiful song "Mayday" until you have heard at least 6 other HF songs. By then you will know all the guys and their voices...and you can fully appreciate this unusual arrangement.
