Tim I ordered the kit from our local John Deere dealer this morning. Our younger neighbor is willing to help me put the parts on our tractor so we will save about $700. The kit is more expensive today, $1,100, but so is everything else. Your channel helped our dealer find the kit that he did not know existed, and it is helping us put it all together. Thank you.

Tim I purchased and installed mine yesterday and wish it was as smooth sailing as your install, but here are a few things that your viewership need to know. If you have a cab as I do on my 2022 1025r, the lines from the coupler station down to the quick disconnects on the tractor end up being extremely strained by the cab footwell extension that protrudes into the space where the shorter lines would naturally be installed so I ended up taking the kit supplied lines off and switching back to the original lines. I will readily admit that the lines are pretty long which I'll replace later but I have a mower deck so mine rest on top of the deck and the aluminum bracket that came with the loader I mounted on the tractor to keep the lines away from the tire. Speaking of the bracket that came with the kit to hold the quick connector, it also interferes with the cab so could not use. Also had to grind down the coupler bracket that attaches to the cast iron mount because the latching mechanism on the quick connector interfered when trying to open it. One last thing on the lines connected to the loader, I installed mine the way you did with them facing rearward but ended up facing them downward to allow the hoses to be more out of the way than being bulked up on top. In hindsight I'm wondering if all the kit lines could have been swapped but I'll save that for another day. Now to solve for the mower deck hose and your DiscountHydraulicHose.com suggestion from my previous post.

You'll probably see it as standard equipment in a few years! Definitely a must if you have difficulty operating the couplers. I've only taken my loader off a hand full of times in 4 year's. Mainly for maintenance but I also do not use mine to mow. Thank you for keeping us up to date with a lot of these upgrades. God bless

Good video. This quick connection was one of the deciding factors on buying our Kubota bx2680. My wife uses the tractor regularly and would need to remove the front end loader and the quick connector is so easy. Nothing wrong with making life easier! One tip with the quick connection is to blow or clean the surface before installing the loader connection. Dirt and debris collect in the connection area and if not cleaned can cause oil to leak from an improper seal. Tim I really enjoy your channel so keep them videos coming!!

That is a great accessory for owners who remove their buckets Tim. My 855's bucket has only been off a handful of times since 1992 when I brought it. If that accessory was offered when I bought my tractor, I would have taken the bucket off more often, thanks for the informative video Tim & Christy.👍🙏

This will also help with dirt in your connections. I have lost nearly all my caps to keep dirt out when I don't have the loader on and always get a ton of dirt in those connections when mowing. Also nice that it looks like you can connect and disconnect without getting off the tractor!

Just finished welding the mounting brackets (left and right) so that my Kubota bx loader fits on my Iseki. This is a fantastic feature. I got it installed when I bought my 2038r. Just over $1k installed, and rolled into my 0% financing. If you don't take the loader off very often, it might not be worth it. But I install/remove it often...and this is well worth every penny.

Great video, and what seems to be a very handy quick connect system. I’ll bet that heavy duty bracket you first installed was at least half the cost of the system, based on the engineering that seems to have gone into it. In my personal situation, the loader might as well not even be quick attach because it never comes off, so this really has a little value to me, but I can see where for some people it would. I appreciate you making the video easy to navigate for those who wanted to skip installation, but I ended watching anyway to see what this was all about, and glad I did. Your experience and longevity in your relationship shows with your “Quick Save” regarding the vise. LOL Was very informative and fun to watch. Thank you. 👍

Advice from someone that uses single point hydro. Keep them clean we use carburetor cleaner due to it not leaving it oily. I've had a lot of problems from them not being cleaned by other truck drivers often. FYI we use them on auto steer wind turbine trailers. I think its cool how the trailer steering on ours using nothing but hydro flow to work the only electronics on the trailer is for the remote when we need to steer it from the back to make some corners.

Every time I have orderd parts from Deere I have always had instruction with the item. Deere had a system like that back in 2009 when I worked for a local JD dealer. Guess it wasn't available for the small tractors at that time. Nice thing about the kits you get from JD is you get everything you need.

Good video Tim, and I like the fact that you told us about your mistakes. I have always wondered why JD puts the loader QC so low on their tractors. I worked for a guy for 2 years and both of his tractors were like that. Like someone else commented, a little WD40 to work the dirt out. These 4 line QC for the hydraulic hoses on FEL is a nice feature. I was impressed with how stout the bracket is for the QC on the tractor. Keep the videos coming.

I saw this when you first posted it and thought I would like to have this at some point. Had a car accident this last fall and my hands where bandaged up and in a cast and my wife was trying to help me get the snowblower on and when it came to putting the hose on she was really struggling and I was very little help she finally got them on and I told here about this single connect but I told her it was pricey and she said get it before we have to put the loader on so it will be easier and if push comes to shove she can hook up the attachments herself. So now it’s spring and it is on order. And by the grace of God is has come down 200 dollars since you did this video.

The only other comment I would offer is to check your hydraulic dipstick level once installation has been completed and the front loader has been cycled. Now equipped with new, dry lines, the hydraulic level needs to be checked and likely...topped off! Small point, but I beleive an important one. Great instructional video, Tim & Christy!

Good morning Tim I love shop work as much as using the tractor. I try to use OEM as much as possible just a personal choice I guess. One thing to mention when you are not using the loader and it's not attached you should always use the colored caps to cover the ends because they attract dirt and dust like a magnet. I've seen people not doing this and they had leaks. Great video thanks for sharing

I'm an old guy and use my loader as much as my mower. Put one of these on beginning of the year and haven't looked back. I like not having to shut off the tractor or having to get off of it to remove and connect the loader. I can drop the loader in my driveway go cut grass and put it back on with zero effort. For us old guys with mobility issues this is a must have and the price has dropped to under $700... worth every penny. Now I have to figure out where I'll put a diverter valve...

Really good video Tim ! I watched it all the way through. I find the fittings on my 1026R to be a breeze and do switch out the loader a few time a month. I switch mine over within reach of my air and find blowing everything clean before and after keeps the fittings from sticking. Never once had to relieve the pressure to get them on. If it was new at 0%, the single point and what ever the system is to not have to connect the MMM lift with a switch instead of switching the hose I would sign up for. For me and that amount of money I would opt for one of the grapple's that do not require extra hydraulics at around $1500

About the question "Is it worth it?": The thing is, we mostly approach this question with our minds already made up that it's soooo difficult to take the loader off that it's not worth it, "I just don't take my loader off", "I can do most things without taking off the loader", "I'll figure out another way". This connector, combined with the loader walking itself on and off makes it worth it, now you can easily take the loader off to do your tractor maintenance, you can do your mowing without front or back implements. You have more visibility when the loader is not needed. You can think of new ways to use your tractor, that you would just have dismissed in your head within a 1/2 second of thinking it before. It's easier to consider using other types front implements like a front snow blower. You can consider doing more things in a forward motions. There are many manufacturers of this type of multi-connector, Liebherr, Faster, Stucchi, Manuli, and more. Next for John Deere would be to include the 3rd, and make it connect at the same time as the loader, in one step: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/bL50rNdnktaqf2Q.html

From what I can see of the connector it is substantially stronger than the BX quick connect. The connector on my wife’s BX started leaking. I spent over an hour checking the tightest of the hoses before I actually discovered the cause. The first time it happened and after I checked all the fittings and connecting it back together and reinstalling the loader. The test I was doing showed the leak went the bucket was at a full up or down position. Thus I removed and installed the FEL four or five times. The last time I moved the bushing that the latch snugs the coupler together. The bushing looks more like some kind of composite rather than a strong metal. The other issue is the the Deere quick connector you showed and the two that are on my Grand L is that those have two latches and two bushing. The BX only has one latch. The two latches divide the force of closing and holding the connector tight. The BX only having only one latch has to take all the force. Anyway by just spinning the bushing I could stop the leak, but it meant always testing the connection and removing the loader and trying it again. I had the dealer replace the coupler under warranty and they did. The cost was over $650.00 for that coupler and I noticed that it already has a nick in the bushing. With all the pieces you get with that kit compared to the BX it seems almost free. They are now putting that connector on there B an LX series; however, I don’t know if it is the same one as on the BX or not. If I could get that Fast connector that you have it would certainly be worth it if the hose fitting fit the BX. While the BX is a great machine and does a lot of work quite well, it seems that the main thing Kubota concreted on was shaving price points.

Hi Tim, I have 1025R with a loader bucket, forklifts, brush hog, backhoe, auger, boxblade, rake and mower deck. I use all of them so yes, I'm constantly switching implements. Because my tractor is the primary mower for the property I do remove front and rear implements to mow. I would say on a scale of 1-5, removing the front loader is 2.5 because the plugs don't always release easily and because it's so low on the tractor it's ALWAYS dirty. Not only does this single point get you off the ground, I would think your new disconnect location will stay cleaner. Although I experience this problem more with the rear hoses, but there are rare occasions where I have had to tap the nipple on the male end to relieve pressure so I can insert the hoses. I think this single connect will provide enough leverage that even on the chance that a hose is under pressure the additional leverage you have from the disconnect will mitigate that problem. I will be pitching this to, "finance".

Ive hoped to get this for a long time! I take my loader on and off many times per year. I only have one good working hand and often struggle connecting hoses

My Massey loader quick disconnects are impossible to grab hold of to hook and un-hook. I modified a welding vise grip to lock on to the "quick" connector. The tool had 1" flat fingers that made a 90 degree angle, I cut the fingers at the 90 bend and only had to grind open the jaws a little to go around the fitting. Now I just compress the fitting with the pliers and it locks the connector open and makes it soooo simple to hook and unhook. The great thing about the vise grip is the adjustment screw, just a turn or two and the connector can be locked in the completely open position. Cost around $ 20.00.

My jd 640r loader has a single point hookup for the grapple when you take the bucked off. You can mount one of those behind the one you just installed then you just plug in two of the single point hookup

Very nice addition to the tractor. I can seen how this will be very great to some since you no longer need to get on or off the tractor to disconnect the FEL. Do you still need to turn the engine off to relieve hydraulic pressure on the couplers? Now that could be a pain.

For my 2014 1025R, 5 Years ago I bought a MultiFaster P606 (still available but slightly redesigned ) used for a reasonable price on ebay. also bought an extra implement side section. it has 6 ports. Then i designed and welded up a bracket to mount to the two square holes on the Loader frame upright purchased four short hydraulic hoses (You are correct they are not cheap) to go from under the floor board to the tractor mounted Faster and have been using with pleasure ever since. I remove the loader each time I cut the grass in under 60 seconds and it reattaches just as fast. I also have a connector on my snow blower. This year i did need to change out 3 connection valves due to corrosion so now I keep them covered if I leave the reactor outside. My Original Cab will also fit with this set up so Is well worth the investment. also Faster does offer an electrical connection instead of Hydraulic if desired for the same units. Keep up the good videos. cant show a picture here will post one on www.greentractortalk.com/forums/

Great job Tim. I love it. This will make it much easier with the cab. Do they have just the part for the loader so I can do this with my snow blower also?

I had nothing but issues with the BX quick connect. It constantly leaked, had it replaced twice and same issue. Finally I got the dealer just to to convert to straight connections and had no more leaking issues.

Your cat seem to love being on the tractor seat and after having come out and find my battery drained because one of the cats here accidentally turned the headlight know to on and it stayed on too long. That set of connections seem to be nice and too bad the Deere company didn't think of that previously and installed that feature on their tractors.

I do use my tractor as a multi-purpose tool; but I leave the loader on all the time; even when mowing. OTOH; my mower is a flail mower, and I often find the loader useful for pushing stuff out of the way (6 acres of brush, scrub oaks, and weeds).

The line losing the oil, I learned how much comes out.. I snapped one of those lines you were loosening on that left arm.. Got caught during grappling of heavy brush and snapped right off. I also learned, drop the bucket/loader arms as far down as you can before disconnecting them again.. Once I dropped the arms down, the leaking stopped. After replacing the connector, it was not tight enough and again started leaking when I powered up.. I shut down, dropped the arms and the leaking stopped, properly tightened it this time and leak was gone on the line replaced. So far I have snapped that line connector and the line connector going to the front left tire turn hydraulic piston and then had one on the other arm on the right side turn loose and need tightening. Heavy brush is not easy to work in.

Perhaps your next tractor Tim, will have a 6 hose connector for the third function valve! Great video.

Great install video, seems to function very well. Did you have any clearance issues when you reconnect the third function hoses? In the video it appears that the new support bracket is close to the third function hose connection fittings, why i'm asking, Thanks !
