Starting off the mod bug on the TT RS with the most basic of mods, an intake. APR's Carbon Fiber "Inlet & Intake System" to be exact. This piece of hardware is the same for both the 8s Audi TTRS, and the facelift 8v Audi RS3, as they both share the same engine and drivetrain.
The endgame is that elusive 9 second pass while meeting my daily driver requirements. Might check to see the progress with draggy along the way, as well as see what it does on the dyno, but it won't be official until I get that track printout.

Looking forward to your sub 9. Im looking to go stage 1 w the inlet & ic from apr also, concerned about the warranty but we shall good. Nice vid

I just went ahead and spent on the eventuri intake. Sooo worth it in terms of quality and power. No heat soak, and it looks insane. Check my install out, also yes Unitronic is the way to go, I’m on uni stage 1 and once I finish all my bolt on’s I’m going stage 2. I have mid and down pipe as well as intake. Shits a rocket, nice girlfriend she seems like a keeper by the way.

@@wjlowe111 I did, I have the unitronic catted downpipe. Passes emissions and no cel. I have the install video on my page

Hey brother, congrats on the car. Monsta ! Apr are old news.. get with the times.. unitronic or iros motorsports hardware and software. They know what do do with these 5bangas.

fivepotmusic APR may be a little behind on the software front but their hardware has always been great quality to me; at least for the parts I’ve gotten. I’ve heard about the drama in the past with other products but I don’t know too much about it. That being said I’ll be going with Unitronic for software and likely one of the Iroz Zona Rotor turbos when I upgrade snails.

intake without a tune gains no power, time for a flash. Looks good and sounds nice though =P

Jon Hayes flash is likely next. But this is not just an intake, It’s the turbo inlet too! APR does show a 32whp gain from both together with no other mods, with 14whp being from the turbo inlet alone. I haven’t dyno’d but I can definitely say the car is way more responsive and *feels* a tad quicker. I’m hoping to be able to measure more as I make more changes

How much louder is the intake? Is it noticeably different?

It’s very noticeable! I was actually surprised at how much noise it added. I’ve been meaning to get some better clips of it. Will try in the coming weeks with boost season setting in :)

@@danny_vrsociety Been on the fence about getting this for my RS3....the $1100 for an intake/inlet 0_0.....sounds worth it though!

I feel you! But considering some TTRS/RS3 intakes are $1300+ without the inlet, i'd say this one's a steal! Also if you hold out for a show or event next season you can usually get a great deal on the set. That's what I did and I basically paid wholesale!

metaldroid85 yes! Unfortunately the road turned into a long one because of some life things and then the pandemic, but I’m actually just wrapping my intercooler install today. Should have an update soon! 🍻
