Stacy introduces the tunnel to Frenzy and Deuce. She shows how to socialize them to the new "thing" and use food and positive reinforcement to make it fun and exciting. New things challenge your dog and teach them to reason through new things.

Thank you, Frenzy is adorable, she would be a match for my 5 month puppy Hector. He is a bundle of energy and no fear so appreciate the tips on training and keeping him learning. Definitely going to do these 👍

I think your Frenzy and my Bryn are similar in personality. She needs a lot of stimulation in the form of learning new things. We have the same tunnel and the first time she saw it she just ripped through it. She loves to play hide and seek with me and even turns around it - not sure how she manages to do it. Bryn is a year and half now and we are starting on her cart training. So much fun teaching her.

That is great! Yes, Frenzy loves to learn and think. You can see her eyes just light up and the wheels turn!

Hi, thank you for the last two videos. Totally on point with where we are at now! I would be interested in seeing a video on training for animal assisted therapy dogs. That’s if you haven’t already done one! Thanks.

I haven't simply because I haven't trained a therapy dogs. I would look into the service dog training programs that exist and get their help.

Berners are so smart, but mine puppy is lazy, I need to pull him on walks😂 I have a question, are Berners mouthing a lot, like biting softly (or harder sometimes😉) or it's just my Ozzi, or maybe I didn't do a great job in teaching him not to. His six months old and his biting a lot softer than before but he love to do that😏 Regards from Poland, I love your channel, learn a lot from your videos❤

Berners are quite known for biting / nagging. 6-12 months is the "worst" age, as there is a lot going on in their bodies and they often take it out on their owners. But be patient after that time, it will only get better and better.

@@lanlennart thank you for answer, I don't have many info on internet about characteristic behaviour of that breed so I'm often wonder is it just him or is it most Berners🤔😆 like arguing a lot😂😂 he likes to barking and seem to think I understand what he wants to say😏

Hi Anna, I would not force him to walk. He is communicating to you and it is important to learn. They can be mouthy but it is important for them to have good bones to chew and training to help them focus their energy.

Our Berner is 9 months and has started humping like crazy on his pillow or even other dogs. How do I stop this ? He also has started chewing things in house at times when we leave. We do not crate him because he freaks out. Loves to destroy his stuffed toys and can go threw chew toys very fast. I know thus is the teen years but man hope this faze goes fast. Tips ?

He is starting to get hormones and enter the preteen stage. He likely needs more mental and physical stimulation. If you aren't already I would get into weekly training classes to help redirect his energy. When you leave, I would confine him by gate into a space he can be successful in. Antlers are good chews that take some time to get through and raw knuckle bones but bones are good with supervision. I would look into Kong treat dispensing toys and toys you hide treats into.
