Seriously, very few humans on the planet could even think of pulling off the power, depth and control of what Bas does here between 2:49-3:11. Incredible. No pro tools and BS. This was all his voice through a board. Incredible talent.

Sebastian is one of the top vocalists of all time . I used to listen to Skid Row all the time and still go back to listening to them and rock and metal from the 80s and 90s. One of my fave songs of all time.This song will make you cry. Love you forever Sebastian and not only were you blessed with good looks but a voice that will blow you away.

It's a crime that this song wasn't as big commercially as some of their other ones. Truly incredible. Slave to the Grind is a shamefully underrated album.

Great Lyrcis, Great Vocal, Great Band, Great Solo, Great Acoustic, Great Bass-lines. Definitely one of the best songs ever existed. Not only just in rock&metal genre. But yet so underrated. Definitely a peak song. 11/10

I’m only 25 but my dad got me into all of the good music at an early age. He passed away back in 2014 and everytime I here anything remotely from the 80s/90s it makes me miss him that much more

I know skid row got lumped into the hair metal genre but they were so much more than that. There was always some depth to their music that got overlooked because of the genre they got lumped into. And this album is nothing short of amazing, and original. Skid Row never sounded like anyone other than Skid Row and nobody ever sounded like them

"I never thought you'd let it get this far, boy." I'll never get over that phrase, brings back lots of memories. Love how Seb's vocals keep growing with each verse, just a phenomenal performance.

In my late teens/early 20's, I was grappling with depression and suicidal thoughts. Songs like this made me feel like I wasn't alone. That someone out there understood. I listened to this one probably a thousand times back in the day. It's a masterpiece.

Sebastian’s voice in fkn amazing! Seriously, his vocals are one of the absolute best there is. His range..unbelievable! This man is SO underrated.

It's funy to see young people's reactions to 80s rockers like skid row, thier blown out the water, like they can't believe what thier hearing, the F*ckin talent!

What a set of pipes! Sebastian came along just that right moment in history. Imagine 30 years sooner or 30 years later and the pop world never would have heard this talent.

He should be in the Rock n roll hall of fame for just having that voice. So recognizable and so flippin powerful. So glad I picked up their first album on that cold February day back in 1989!

I have no problems admitting this: the first time I heard this song on CD, it literally made me cry.

This is one of their best songs. So powerful, so raw, so gut wrenching. Sebastian is all in. He is full of emotion and is the story teller. He takes you on a journey. Live, his voice wasn't always spot on, but it didn't matter, the passion was tangible.

Sometimes it feels to me as if this song closed off the "80s era" of hard rock. Yes, it was released in 1991, but that was the last year of the popularity of this music. This song is the perfect ending to that era. Classic, masterpiece.

This man performed on Broadway. That says it all. Very talented down to earth guy. Skid Row was my go to for awesome riffs. 🐍 is a very underrated guitarist. Ego always ruins great bands.
