What a job I just did mine yesterday absolutely no room to work the steering colum is in the way also oil tank. I loosen the oil tank and slid it over that helped alot. I will never attempt this again dont care how much it cost i will bring it to the dealer next time. I have had five different ski doo 600 carb models and cleaning the exhaust valves where easy and quick on them. I have 4000 miles on my 2018 850 etec valves where not bad I always run xps oil but had an oil leak on the two shafts that's why I did mine. Maybe I should of removed the exhaust and steering colum to do this job not sure how the dealership does it but has to be a better way?

How long would you say the whole process took you? Also, what was the total cost for parts?

Thanks for the video!!! To be clear the service is just a cleaning of carbon build-up on the valves, right? Is it suggested to replace any seals while in there or is that not needed?

The service was for oil leaking. He states as such in the first 30 seconds.

@@ktajax Yep, got that. Was asking that the service is just cleaning, and not *replacing* anything.

@@bmickle The man stated there's an oil leak. There is a gasket in there and anytime you remove a part and there is a gasket of any sort, it's good practice to replace said gasket. So, to answer your original question and to anyone else reading this, yes there is a paper gasket that keeps the oil in the motor that should be replaced.

Umm, there's no adjustment at the cable "nut". The adjustment is all in the nuts on the valves

Yes there is. Look at where the Rave Actuator Cable connects to the Rave Assy. There is a Nut on the back of the Mtg Bracket that I put red finger nail polish on so that when I pulled everything apart I made sure that the cable was the same length so that I didn’t have to bring the sled to the Dealer and have connect the Buds System to recalibrate the Rave Assembly.

That nut is one piece with the cable - it doesn’t adjust or move at all
