This series of BB slicer "how to's" is amazing. I have watched each one, learned a ton, always go back to to relearn/reinforce methods and get ideas.

🤘BITCHIN🤘 Another block-buster! This is what most people need to know to do some very basic CAD work without the complexity of a powerful CAD software.

Thank you. I know it isnt full fledged CAD but sometimes you just need to get to a solution without a lot of fuss.

Nice video and a lot of fun to do! I think I have a handle on the Boolean operations now after watching this a few times. I’m trying a similar box for my daughter’s birthday tomorrow. I printed out 48 little cookies to put in the box, one for each birthday! 🎉

Once again, you have managed to take the approach and my thinking to another level to tackle new projects. Crazy what you get out of the Bambo slicer! Thank you for that!

You certainly don't ever disappoint us with your content. I was having trouble. I wanted to print lettering on the textured build plate and the slicer didn't recognize the lettering. Now I understand why because the assembly wasn't arranged correctly. Thank you, I will go back and try again.

Thank you. That "order of operations" stumped me in 2023 as folks were saying their text/logs were disappearing after a slice. I didnt catch it fully until it happened to me. I hope that helps your project.

Another great video. Just started using the Maker Lab. I must have missed a part of the video. It looks like you have an inside, lip on your star container .
@ashleys3dprintshop
@ashleys3dprintshop 4 ай бұрын
Thank you very much. Yes this lid has a form fitting inner lip but there is a proper alignment as the star has a "north". I didnt mark it properly so 4 of he orientations are incorrect and 1 is correct and flush. Good catch,. 😁

Man you really are the best content creator on bambu / orcaslicer! Any chance you could share the 3mf of the collection of icons you made? 😊

I truly do appreciate that positive comment. I will try to upload that 3mf file to makerworld once I completely it.(hopefully it is not against bambu lab rules) I'll leave a message here and potentially a community post later.

Can you recommend slicer settings to print smaller text? I have slowed down the print, changed filament type, and several letters & numbers are not clear, especially 9s 3s. Keep up the good work. Love the way you explain the information. Thank you

Sure. There are a bunch of variables to take into account. 1 how small text(in mm) , what font type, nozzle size. . 4mm or,. 2mm nozzle. I may make a video about this too if interest is there.

@@ashleys3dprintshop I'm trying to make some coasters, using svg files. I'm using a 04 nozzle - the font size is approx 2mm. I found that if I take it down in regards to the layer height, it works but it is too thin and shows the background. I hope this makes sense... Thanks for the videos! Just a thought, but maybe a video on what everything does in the slicer...
