true story, an owl landed on top of my head while I was jogging and stayed perched there for a minute until it finally decided to leave, I have to admit it did not feel pleasant at all, I dont know how that kid tolerated it. I was terrified but I knew to remain calm and not make any sudden movements that would freak the owl out knowing full well that if i did, its talons could pierce through my skull. luckily I only got a scratch on the top of my forehead

One time a barn owl sat on my head at a museum once. We were inside a barn so there was nothing to be scared of though. :)

The clip is from a hunting programme in Denmark, and they where out watching a falconer showing how to use birds of prey in hunting. The falconer was very sad about it, and even one of the hosts of the program cried for the bird. It was a stupid decision by the falconer, and they were hunting in that particular area, not training, if I remember correctly. The bird usually went the other way, and it was discussed afterwoods what made it go towards the motorway, as it normally didn't do that.. noone in the program thought it was funny, I just wanted to point that out.. 😊 They are really pleasant and kind people in the programmes. :) ps. I really enjoy your videos teaching others how to do the best for their owls 🙏🙏👍🥰

Great Greys are very sweet and intelligent, though fairly challenging, but not the hardest

Are owls allowed to eat coconut? And is coconut toxic to owls?

Owls are predators and carnivores. It is not wise to feed them anything other than meat, other than supplements recommended by a good avian vet.
