In Illinois, all parades, festivals, and outdoor events in general were canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. So, local communities have been seeking creative ways to bring live outdoor entertainment to people who are staying at home. On Sunday June 14, a very short caravan consisting of two tow trucks donated by a local business circulated around neighborhood streets in Skokie to promote "Unity Thru Community." Details of the event and a route map informed us that they were going to parade right past our home. Two DJs and a drummer provided the entertainment, which you could hear from several blocks away.
