2:32 Music usually build up in measures of 8, 16, 32 and 64 counts when counting in 4/4. Usually after 16 or 32 there is a small change in music After 64 a big change. Tempo change, chorus, new instruments. Often lead in with a small break for dynamics. Almost all music uses a similar structure. In this song after the drumfill the intro is 32 counts. Than vocals enter. And after another 32 a tempo change. In the same bpm range that first break and big change often appears at the same time stamp. Not a trained musician, not a vocalist so i hope my explaination makes sense. Love your channel !

The reason a lot of the breaks happen around 42 seconds is because that's a bpm an bar related thing. As you know music is most of the time predictable in terms of timing and when the time is around there that's a point of resolve after 32 bars if I'm not mistaken :D
@H3xTOxTHExZ2 жыл бұрын
I learned this in the dubstep days where it was a meme that songs dropped like a "b055" This was because at 140bpm the 32 bar mark where 90% of songs tended to "drop" was at exactly 0:55

This whole song is just amazing. To me it seems like theres more slaughter to prevail and not only Alex. Dont get me wrong I fcking love his singing but its just as Mark said, its a well written song due to the fact that they dont lean as much on his brutal lows. Its a masterpiece but my favourite parts about it are the little drum parts in the chorus at 8:44 - 8:48 for example. It slaps so hard and I cant sit still when listening.

Im ukrainian so I can freely understand russian language, i`ve seen a bunch of Alex vids and yeah pretty much the secret of his "Open" sound is intentionally lowering larnyx he coached it himself on his vocal lectures. I think Mark is right that about that lowering ur larnyx may cause some problems I mean when I just started working on this technique I clamped a lot and I admit it feels like ass, but actually lowering it to like a yawning position makes a big difference, also im a fry vocalist so its not 100% similar but what work for me to achieve pretty much same roaring tone is picking a lowest note I can actually project, its A2 for me and projecting it with a bit lower larnyx and additional air thats kinda how you can replicate it
@vaderguitarplayer Жыл бұрын
This is the same for me. I am primarily Fry, but am understanding how to do False Chord lately. And I think that what I am doing is a hybrid, rather than true false chord. They are so closely related, it can feel like wiggling your ears when you never have. You can, you just don't know how yet. But I digress, everything you stated is what I also do to mimick these sounds.
