That was like a surge of pure 100% NL luck right there... Issac broke thru and gave him power or something. The perfect defense rolls and intangibility was just jaw dropping! The fact he navigated it correctly was what made it happen.

Seeing NL look at Sneaky Strike in a Sneko deck and go "It's not good enough" is such an orgasmic moment of redemption. He's come a long way as someone who used to dump sneaky strike into any random deck

@@UM96lol How do you mean? Snecko Eye gives you the opportunity to take much more higher cost cards, which are much better, which in turn can and does make the game much easier. It basicaly takes the responsibility of playing well from you. Coupled with Ice Cream it is almost unloseable. Its like Corruption + Dead Branch on the Ironclad or Artifacts + Biast Cognition on the Defect.

@@porgy5978 I mean unloseable is really really hyperbolic. Snecko pretty much fucks him more often than it saves him climbing the floors. Ice Cream makes it definitely a bit more consistent if you've got enough luck early to save up the energy, but similar to Corruption / Dead Branch filling the deck with garbage more often than necessary cards, it's just another strategy; not more likely to win than just picking up solid cards. Snecko might have spared him from picking up a bunch of 1/0 cost cards that he might have been liable to pick up (which would've cluttered up his deck), but I don't think "it takes the responsibility of playing well".

I doubt you're going to see this, but something to keep in mind is that corpse explosion stacks, so if you get 2 off, it's dealing double the max hp of the target to everyone

Great run. Fun fact: on the triple sentry don’t, you didn’t want to play corpse explosion because of the artifiacrs. In fact, corpse explosion provides 2 debuffs--first the poison, then the explosion. So you could have played it-they would have blocked the poison, but not the explosion. Didn’t end up mattering because you didn’t manage to kill them by the time corporate explosion came back around anyway. Just something that’s good to know.

the fact that NL had a three digits lose streak then a "win streak" proves he wasn't playing / learning at his best in the past But now I can say he is officially better than 99.5% of the StS player good job egg. You did well This is a very enjoyable ride(except daily) hope this series can continue, StP video has become one of my bedtime routine (12pm when you upload in my time zone) thanks for daily entertainment

I've watched this video so many times over the last few years. Seriously just so proud of him. I know it's been a long time now since this happened but I remember watching the videos every day wondering if he'd finally do it. Straight up MONTHS of losing A20 runs and then ends it all with the most insanely clutch boss fight of all 500000 of his Spire videos lol. It was a storybook ending.
